Swap the led on one you like less for a nichia 519A or something… Maybe nice warm tint or something.

White balance makes it hard to decide from photos. Also ambient lighting makes a bug difference.

I’d probably keep the warmer one.

My question would be if the hs40 keeps memory in ramping mode. Mine were defective and always started on high. Also the 5000K was gross green. I swapped to a 3000K new XML. It’s pretty good.
