Zanflare F1 charging question

Just received my Zanflare F1, and tried charging via USB.
that battery is a working Samsung cell with 3.9something volts.
the led light kept flashing green then red.

according to the instructions it’s either red for charging or green when full.

whats going on?

Have you tried another cell?

yeah, they both make the same alternating red-green.
both cells charge fine in my nitecore charger.

When you plug the USB cord in and get a flashing red/green, try turning the light on while it is plugged in by pushing the tailcap switch. The light shouldn’t come on, but the red charging indicator should.

I think you have to have the light in the on position to charge

Actually, if not of this thread, I have not tried my F1.

I just tried this and I think this is correct. If the light is ON then charged, the light goes OFF then Red (charging indication) lights On.

If I just try to charge directly without turning the light on first, the light blinks then the indicator goes green, not red.

Its listed in the info that came with the light how you do to charge.

that was the problem!! thanks
