Around this time of year postal services in this part of the world is a lottery. Fasttech upgraded one of my orders around this time to Singapore post due citing a backlog with Hong Kong post.
Another positive experience here! My most recent order included a couple of drivers. I received the following email from FastTech regarding the order:
[Quote]"During packaging, we discovered that the 17mm 2-Mode LED Driver Circuit Board for Flashlight DIY (SKU 1114500) we were about to ship you is the wrong item, the supplier has provided the wrong stock to us. To avoid further delay, we are going to shipped you everything else except this item. The shipment will ship in a few hours. A shipment notification will be sent to you with a tracking number inside.
We will have this item replaced and shipped to you as soon as we received the stock. It will ship with a separate tracking number and we'll e-mail that to you when it ships.
Thanks a lot for choosing FastTech.com, and we are sorry again for any inconveniences caused."

Another great job by FastTech, noticing issues and proactively correcting them promptly. I've since received confirmation that the drivers have now shipped and are on their way. This certainly beats DX's policy of picking up whatever drivers they find on the floor, slapping the needed .SKU tag on the bag, and tossing it in the box...
Fasttech forgot some O-rings in a recent order. I opened a ticket to have them added to my next order. When I woke up the next day, I had a response; apologizing for the error and the item is in one of my my pending orders. Simple and quick.
I just wish I could get the FT Ticket System to work better on Firefox (redirect errors). I had to submit the ticket via Internet Exploder :Sp
+1. A lot of other vendors seem to have got their hands on it, just a couple of days ago LED-DNA offered it for $7 shipped with any board size of your choice. Harder to resist now…
Received my first order from FT. Enlan Bee, S&W & SRM Knives…Ganzo Multi-Tools. Packaged well, ordered on 2/26 dlvd 3/6 via USPS first class…that is 8 days to Texas!
Pretty cool that they have a picture of your package when it ships.
Love their website and the fact that it is easy to refine what you are looking for. Just look on the left hand side of their flashlight section and you can find whatever you want according to spec (All, Price Range, Listed (when), Peripheral Form, Peripheral Type, Compatible Models, Product Format, Battery Chemistry, Battery Feature, Battery Form Feature, Battery Type, Charger Style, Color, Compatible Brands, Cooling Device, Light Source Bin, Light Source Brand, Light Source Color, Mode Count, Mode Memory, Operating Voltage, Plug Type, Power Adapter Included, Tail Stand, Water Resistant, Water Proof, Wire Gauge, Brand) AWESOME!
No hesitation in giving them a 5 star rating.
FT goes above and beyond…I just hope they can keep it up.
My first order from FastTech is a Sky Ray King 3* Cree XM-L U2. I really hope this version is a
genuine Sky Ray with 2500LM and not a knockoff, im looking forward to its arrival.
I got the shipping confirmation 2/23/13 and my tracking app says it has left Hong Kong 3/5/13. New update on my tracking app today 3/8/13 Wohoo it has arrived my
country. I might have it on monday or tuesday
I received my TrustFire protected Flames 18650X8 from DX few days ago, and they have all been charged with my nitecore charger and are just eager to play I bought two sets of batterys for my
light so ive got power at all time.
It seems to be hard to find a good holster for this beauty because of the rare can shaped size, but
it looks like I have found a very cheap solution to that. I found this on ebay at only US $3.39
You can use this on youre belt, and strap it in. Easy access and adjustable for most of youre lights, exept youre huge ones
I will let you know how this fits when I get it.
The reviews are written with a nickname, no problem with that.
I think it’s the best way, because you can see what else reviews someone made.
I haven’t done many reviews because there is no edit function and I always make some mistakes…but they said that this function will be added sometime.
Also every mistake in description I found and reported, was made clear immediately.
The xtar 16340 are cheap but not so good as nitecore 16340. But I have no numbers in head, the nitecore seem to have the advertised capacity the xtar not. so I ordered just nitecore and they are nice.
Since you ask, can you supply info on LED life vs. junction temperature?
There seems to be a constant tradeoff between LED brightness and LED lifetime and the heat sinking and forced air cooling doesn’t seem practical for flashlights.
If your particular info is proprietary, can you supply links to generic technical data?
