A short story of "real" usage of BTU Shocker, or "BTU meets a castle".
I had a couple of hours free time, so I decided to head to a castle nearby. The castle is located in a remote place, without much light pollution. It was almost full moon, but luckily the sky was covered with clouds. Just like I like it.
I brought multiple lights with me, but ended up using only BTU and modded X6 - mostly because of the size of the castle. :)
Even though BTU is considered to be a thrower, it is more like a wall of light. Very suitable for light painting large objects, like a castle:
There was a lot of snow, but a small trail led me towards the castle: (BTU for castle, X6 for trail)
A snowy bridge leads to the castle: (BTU from left with two different angles)
Come in, we have light! (BTU inside) I wonder if there are ghosts inside too?
Oh yes, there was. I noticed this only after the trip!
Otherwise the castle was cool, so cool that it had lots of snow inside: (BTU beam swept across the scene)
A view from the inner balcony: (BTU swept, again)
So, the BTU has met the castle. It was fun and my NW BTU was exactly as good as I hoped it to be! Even the tail clicky didn't bother me, actually quite the opposite! It was really good for light painting when being hold above my head. Forward clicky would have been even better though..
Thanks for reading & watching. The BTU rocks hard - and so does BLF! (Trees painted with BTU, BLF text with X6)
