Volt SS:

Is that Volt SS deassistable?

I guess if you can drill a hole for the detent…

Yeah, tried that on the Leek and the Cryo.
Bad thing was that I’ve shortened the thumb studs on the Leek before that because it’s a crappy flipper without the spring but it would work well with the thumb studs.
The Cryo is just a heavy ugly brick to me, regretted that I ever got it.

Why I ask, I like the Kershaw Chill a lot but it’s a tad too small and the 8Cr dulling way too quickly.
A bigger variant with a better steel would be nice but not those huge ones like the Ti clone with the heart line on it…

I like my Volt SS. It doesn’t feel too heavy or unbalanced in the hand although it comes with the standard 8Cr13MoV blade steel.

“those huge ones like the Ti clone with the heart line on it…”
I’ve just realized you’re talking about the Overkill! Smile

Carrying both of my usual daily drivers, which are a Spyderco Delica 4 SS in VG-10 and a A.G. Russell 2” folder in ATS-34. Both really great knives.

Very sorry raccoon, the store I got it from is off line. But here are some search results:
https://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/search.do?act=search&sus=&searchkey=OEM...
they seem to be all pretty much the same quality as long as they are priced around 60$ with titanium handles.

Thats the problem, when you hear about knifes it is always when they have been used to do bad, you never hear about the guy pulling out a knife to do something good / normal with it.
And granted there are a lot of bad going on with knifes now and 40 years ago when i started carrying one for the wrong reasons cuz i was stupid back then.
But today and lightning media, then every little bad thing are snapped up and put out there at once scaring the living hell out of a lot of people i am sure..
But legislating against media are a very thin line to walk, but i would like to see something being done to stop press spewing out too much negative news, some tings are best if you dont know about it, and the people that should do something about do that.

I think the normal SAK are legal to carry here, but only just.

Here its quite normal that if 1 person misuse something, just ban it and ruin it for all the people that have enjoyed it and not caused any problems.

Yeah, I have carried one every day of my life since 17 years old (Had a lot of cheep ones prior to that that I did not always carry for whatever reason). Something about being trapped in a car upside down (I was not driving), tends to make one think never again. I will never own another knife that can not cut a seatbelt in one pass, and I will always have one in my pocket. (even when I was stationed in Europe from 88-91, I had a pocket knife.)

People are to fearful of the wrong things. I don’t get it other than the news blowing things out of proportion.

By the way, does anybody know a place where I can find a list of all TwoSun models, available or out of stock?

We have a fine list of all Ganzo models on this forum but I have no success finding anything about TwoSun Sad

Be careful with the red color! If you screw it up and make it orange you’ll have to find an Irish guy! Wink

My apology’s sir, didn’t realize it was clickable. I have that “forgot to pay attention” disease once in a while.
