Hmmmm…. Richard needs to stock a supply of these. Of course, he may have a hard time unloading the 71 stainless steel old-style clips he has in inventory now… Tired

Keepin’ the “B” in BLF

Good news and bad news…

The good news is Richard has a bunch of the new deep carry clips ordered.

The bad news is I didn’t think about his existing stock of the old clips when designing the new. There has to be some good use for those old clips. :~

Richard, we’re still friends right?

I think that there will still be plenty of people who like that look, material, or style, so no worries!  Cool

I'm excited to get try them out, they look pretty cool! It seems like whoever thought of that actually uses these lights... Wink

It seems like every time I get a new Convoy shipment and there's something new in there I end up building a light to test out all of the new stuff, and I'm sure that this time will be no different with the L2 and new carry clips coming.

Mountain Electronics : batteries, Noctigon, and much more! What's new?

Don’t suppose there’s any codes getting around for these clips? I need 3 of them.

I have some, well five actually, of these coming. The BLF A6 clip does not slide well over my pocket even after bending it out a bit. Sure hope this is a solution!

You would know Smile

I think they look pretty cool too but that’s just one opinion…

I sure hope their performance is on par with their looks. I’m expecting a package with the new clips and both styles of the new L2 tubes any day and I can’t wait to try everything out!

My son has been bugging me about getting the clip since I started working on it. He received a blue S2+ for his 10th birthday this summer along with a high quality protected cell from some store in the mountains of Utah. Wink

Now I’m just waiting for the RMM special edition build of the L2 to take that light to new heights!

They’re just over one dollar each. Flat Stare

I’m a major bargain hunter too but I’m not going to ask for a code on these.

If he offered the discount you could potentially save 82 cents on an order of 5 pieces…

Deep carry clip, the thing I’m looking for.

I'm switching my BLF account into LumenZilla. Thanks!

I like the screw on clips for some applications, so I am glad they are still going to be around as well… They screw on after all. That said, I have some of these on order as well..

Thanks J-Dub74, and of course big thanks to Simon for all his work!

 Wow that’s funny. No wonder you were asking for a discount! I guess I’ll have to let Simon know he can add a couple dollars to each clip and people will still buy them! Wink

It does. Someone posted a picture of it on the A6 in the green S2+ thread http://budgetlightforum.com/node/42401?page=6#comment-876483

Just got my clips. They fit great on my s2+‘s.

Fits on my convoy s8 as well, but it slips up and down a little since the groove is wider.

I like them.

Shipping was extremely fast. I didn’t expect it to be that quick, that’s for sure.

Nice. Simon usually does a much better job shipping quickly than all the other Chinese sellers I’ve dealt with. For me it’s typically right around 2 weeks, sometimes a bit less.

The S8 is a nice looking light. I think I need to get one at some point.

I just talked to my wife and I have the package with the new L2 tubes and my clips waiting for me at home!

I also received these today from Simon.

Fits very well on the tailcap of the BLF A6. The groove there is just right.
Very pleased with this improvement! Thanks for making this happen.

Have a good image, but Dropbox as image host does not seem to be supported.

Indeed it is a better value from Simon. Almost makes you wonder why someone would post a link to Banggood in the thread I started for Simon. Flat Stare

Just messing around with a s2+.

I unscrewed the head a little bit from the tube, put the clip on reverse style and tightened it. Light still works and now the light can securely go in a hat

I wouldn’t carry it every day like this, but in a pinch it’ll work for a backup headlamp when I can’t get to my real headlamp.

You have to remove the “dl=0” from the end of the link and replace it with “raw=1” and tadaaa

Yup, fits pretty well. The groves are a little wider though so it can slip up and down a bit.

I’ll add a pic in a little bit.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s just as a temp thing in case I need to put it on my hat to be hands free.
