hi dear, could you tell me why you want buy China items not via AE

The answer, Streamer, is that PayPal was charging commissions that AliExpress disagreed with.

I buy from vendors that accept paypal payments because I don’t use credit cards. No paypal = no sale.

Although I have never had to file a Paypal dispute, I feel comfortable knowing that option is there.

Im the one who paid Jaxman by Paypal and has now had my package sent back to Jaxman.

If its causing issues Jaxman you can refund me and I’ll figure something else out. Its cool man.

I use to use AI but they wanted me to re-enter my credit card and I just was not comfortable doing that again.

But….I just may because there are other items I want from AI….

Thanks Jaxman!

I’ve personally used the Jaxman store twice now to purchase two E2s. I had GREAT communication with J. Bo about both transactions and would purchase from him/them again whether they use PP or not. PP is most certainly not without its drawbacks.

I had a horrible experience with a single ordered item from GB that I paid using PP. Notice I used the word “single.” I eventually got my PP refund - after I received the first E2 that I ordered from Jaxman.

I cannot speak for all of AliExpress like most of the posters here seem to be backhandedly doing in this thread, but as for Jaxman, in my limited experience, they are way above water.

You did mention this in another topic right? I remember something like this
The app wanted me to fill it in again too, bit when I tapped cancel it simply continued and I have seen a request on the site as well, didn’t had a credit card at hand so ignored it and now it doesn’t ask it but if it pops up I will do it since the online credit card payment overview is very clear so if something would be wrong I’d spot it fast.

Sometimes I use the PayPal credit card processor on GearBest I don’t have a PayPal. I’ve used my credit card on GearBest direct and aliexpress. My credit Union is pretty good about fraud. Plus I don’t have more then a hundred or two in the bank usually at any given time paycheck to paycheck so thieves really wouldn’t benefit from my information. So I don’t worry to much. I’ve had my bank pop up during a transaction and enter q security thing to make sure I’m really making the order. They have called me a couple tomes to asking if I made a overseas order after the transaction went through

I hear a lot of people saying that they are weary or using credit cards on AE.
I cannot understand why.
If you are truly using credit, it’s not even your money anyway.
You literally have nothing to lose.
I have never ever heard of someone having to pay a credit card provider back
for illegitimate or unauthorized purchases.
You are far more likely to have your card skimmed at a physical point of sale,
than to have it somehow hacked online. Skimmers on ATMs, skimmers on gas pumps,
store clerks having card skimmers beside the cash register. These are the things you should be worried about.

Alipay is the largest payment platform in the world larger than both paypal and square combined. Hacking or payment security is not and has not been an issue. You are exponentially more like to lose your wallet than to have some fraud/theft/hacking issue with Alipay.

Some stats on ALipay
total payment volume of alipay $519 billion
400 million registered users
all time number of alipay transactions 42.3 billion
average number of daily alipay transactions 175 million

I am on a similar boat as Jerommel, I use PayPal to pay in many sites but I've also discovered the benefits of using Aliexpress; if I have an issue with an order, they're prompt to answer and a video/pics is all I need to solve my order issue. If I am to get a reimbursement, it arrives at my bank account FAST, something which I can't claim with PayPal.

My last year's purchases from Aliexpress have surpassed my eBay ones.

Cheers ^:)

P.S.: you don't need a @#$% credit card to pay on Aliexpress, a debit card is enough/equivalent.

P.S.2: PayPal's currency conversion charges are ABUSIVE. @#$% them!

For people from the Netherlands it’s easy to pay via iDeal, which is a direct on-line bank transfer.
I think there are similar options for other countries too.
So then you don’t need a credit or a debit card, just your regular bank account.
Works great :+1:
Safe too, because you need a TAN code your bank sends by SMS.

i use aliexpress a lot so there is no problem for me.

I like the fact that gift (non-reloadable) credit cards can be attached to a PayPal account. Aliexpress won’t accept them!

Things do happen several years ago my moms discover cards numbers were stolen at a store by w cashier. And she had to pay it back about 5 grand took years to pay it off. Eveb when the economy was great years back still the poorest state in america. 15-18 grand a year is average wage still today. They were going to ruin her perfect credit and the cost of going to court over it would have been the same or more for a good lawyer against a billion dollar companies team of lawyers. This was at a place where they still did carbon copies of credit cards. Online ordering was in its infancy. Now its easier to detect fraud transactions. But they wouldn’t listen care budge didn’t care because the items were sent a next town over to a foreclosed home. She’s never had a discover card since then.

I have bought on Ae before but my preference for PayPal is really because I’m lazy. PayPal is quick and easy / credit card is leave the PC to go hunt down my card so I can regurgitate the numbers.

Sorry fellows, it oughts to be the way GayPal PayPal works is noticeably different depending where one lives. For me there's not even need for a whatever card, I just link my bank to my PayPal account and that's it. Are you freakin' safety paranoid or what?

Cheers ^:)

Dear, we feel sorry the AE does not support Paypal. I cant understand why AE forbid Paypal payment, and I contacted the AE for this. I told them, pls let our buyers can use Paypal as a payment way.But they said they will listen our advice and will give us a feedback later. I think there must be some commercial profit arguement on the payment way of Paypal. The mother company of AE, Alibaba, a firm under the leading of Jack Ma, like do such kinds things in China. Now the Alibaba is the biggest internet firm in China.

Very thanks for you.

I will try find a good third logistics provider for off-line deal. So we can make a buy out of AE and ship out goods quickly.

dear, I think there must be some commercial profit argument.

Yes,I am also hate it.

It seems that things are really different in China and other counties.
In China, there is no difference on Safty of paying via a 3rd payment flat and Bank Card such as Credit Card. The only difference between 3rd payment flat such as Zhifubao(like Paypal of you) and Bank Card is:

You need time to type the Card no. when you making a payment.

But both are safe.

And there will no any other fees for a buyer. There may be some fees charging from a seller, normally 1%.

As the buyer protection, I feel AE should be also no problem. Alibaba( who own the AE) is also a great internet company. At least, I will do my best to protect all our dear buyers. There is no probelm!

Thank you.

Dear, there is no any cashback to seller in AE.

What I said is, a logistics service is more easy in AE. Because AE provides a cheaper, easy to seller, and safe shipment way.

AE will charge 5% from every order. and this is afford by seller.
Paypal will also charge a 5% from the seller.

So they are no much differenc at all, especially for seller.

I think AE still want 5% otherwise no profit for AE. So if paypal AND AE taking 5% each then seller pays 10%. That’s probably why there is no deal between AE and paypal.

Dear, your worry about your money safty is reasonable. I agree it and Paypal make a better protection of the payer’s information.

I can accept your direct payment via Paypal, and I even feel a direct payment is not fair to you. Because AE provide a payment confirmtion before you receive my goods, but Paypal can provide this? very thank your trust.

As the Epack shipping, it is orperated by a national post company, whose reputation is bad in China. China Post, a state owned company, they run the EMS of China, but many many Chinese rufuse to use the China Post as thire shipment provider. So we would not like to make any relation with it. Even the package we ship out is at last via China Post, but the AE will in charge of this with China Post, not us. We would like to talk with China Post.

I am familiar with Simon, Mr, Mao. He is in Canton, where is near to Hongkong. I am in central China, so I do not have so much convienece in arranging shipment. But I will try and find bettery way.
