Budget Light Forum Harvey Relief Sales Thread

Hey Dale, when can i expect the Lumintop HLAAA to be shipped?

I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve given Neal all the information, I’ve asked what I need to do to help him move things along, and still…

Sorry, Neal and SB came to me and asked if I’d handle it and I took it in good faith that Neal and Lumintop would be all over it, don’t know what to do at this point.

Go ahead and spend my money at least, I made it more as a donation, getting lights was just a bonus, so as long as it goes to a good cause I won’t want a refund.

Hopefully everything does work out though.

OK, things are just slow then. I can wait. New experience for us all. Not like we have never waited for a flashlight from China before. My unease has been assuaged. Thanks for the update. Please use my donations to help those in need.

I’m thinking that the Holiday they had over there in China might have something to do with this, sure couldn’t have helped any.

I’m in the same boat. I haven’t received my AA Tool and it’s been about a month. As long as the money is donated I’m ok with it. If anyone hears anything please let me know though I don’t want to buy another one and then have this one arrive also. I really only need 1.

+1 to sending out the funds to those in need. I also confirm I won’t be asking for a refund.

I think it’s awesome what y’all are doing. We lost our home durning the massive flooding and in times like these every little bit of kindness goes a long ways.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, I simply can’t imagine how it was down there, so many folks in your shoes or similar. Hope to add our little bit of help to what is already going on very soon.

Can you give me some feedback on where some cash money could be most beneficial? A specific Church, perhaps, that is helping with food and necessaries? Something like that? Would very much appreciate some direction in this regard…

It was absolutely nuts. We got flooded out last year then ate it again this year. Our house is on pilings (like a bay house) but it wasn’t enough. I have a friend that lives a couple hours away in Liberty Tx who lost his house, shop, and his truck. His mom lives right down the road and her house flooded too. Everywhere you go there’s trash stacked up along the roadside waiting to be picked up from all of the gutted homes. It’s so sad to see this place like this. Heck, my neighbors just finished tearing down their house after having water up to the roof.

I’ll find out the best place to send donations and let you know.

That’s our house in the distance.

The straps over my shop were to keep the high winds from ripping the tin off.

Dale,
Add me to the list of those who won’t ask for a refund of things fall through.

The Hammer, thank you for sharing those pictures… unbelievable! The homes, the cars, the sheer widespread nature of it all, just staggers the mind to think about how many people are starting over.

I need to know that if the stated terms are not honored, then at least my money has been applied to the purpose proposed.

I have contacts with a church that has been dispensing food and diapers as the cleanup continues, I’m also checking into whether or not it would be good to help the local Police departments that have been so heavily taxed helping the victims of this storm. There are a lot of publicly known entities that garner all the attention, I would like to find a more direct route to the little people that are working so diligently behind the scenes. All of it will be going to help those still cleaning up and trying to rebuild, just trying to find the most needy, those that the greater organizations haven’t helped.
