Haha, yeah. The lights sitting next to me getting charged, it’s plugged into the 3.0 USB port on my desktop, still in the red. I don’t think it will charge very fast. At least not fast enough. I’m being lazy. Both my Opus chargers are full of 18650’s that arrived from Llion Wholesale today. I have an Xtac VC4 not doing a thing. I “should” plug it in huh? LOL! This TC20 is just the right size, not too long, not too fat, obviously at 3800 lumen I assume it will put out a NICE amount of throw and spill. And it’s a Thrunite, it’s got some tooth to the knurling! That is a HUGE plus with me as a feature because my hands are always on the slick/dry side. Edit: Oh, my 6000 lumen Nitecore (edit) TC28 TM28 :person_facepalming: arrived too. The batts are on the charger :+1:
TC28?? Thought this was a joke, then I realized your typo….T M 28
.
Nice light!- BlackShadow Terminator on Steroids! It should have some good throw, needs a handle though… I don’t see a tripod mounting hole on the side where you could adapt one, or am I missing it?
.
EDIT: I see now NHM10 handle fits: (and comes free with it?)
Me too. I also have olight r50 xhp70 as well… this tc20 is very small and bright… what i like about this light is user interface and driver… thrunite driver are bulletproof.
No handle, no batteries. Just the charger. Compared to my TM26GT, this thing is bright I did a comparison ceiling bounce, oh man. Data states 45min on turbo. It gets warm. It was not a free item, but I seen the handle for them. And it does have a tripod mounting hole. :+1:
By the way, (I may have said this already) this Thrunite TC20CW really impresses the heck out of me. It’s just perfect in every way I need it to be. I highly recommend it if you thought about getting one.
This has to tell you something positive, I just bought a 2nd one.
EDIT, a pocket clip would have been a nice addition to the TC20!!!
TC20 NW has very nice cream white hotspot & yellowish corona in close distance. Just like all other Cree XHP70.2 LEDs. It’s just the nature of new full covered phosphor LED, no big deal! I dislike hint of green tint from the dedome/shave dome LED more!
No, it is white color not Tan color. The picture may catch the orange light from my Radiant Heater.
Haikelite “white” color is a similar color of TC20’s switch.
Oh, crap, you have four lights that I want to buy (SC-02, TC-20, DQG and Q8). I love NW around 5000K and the least discoloration. Tell me which of the flashlights are you most happy with? I am asking about color, size, modes, etc. I care about a big leak.

I dont know if you saw my post HERE but if you get a good slice on the emitter first , then cut straight down right at the edges of the die itself very carefully and get all that other phospor off , then the beam will actually have less greenish cast in it and tighten up some also.
Getting that layer of phosphor off around the die itself is key to getting rid of what I call the “Olive” cast around the main hotspot.
Note this is based on the CW emitter………the NW emitter would probably get way too warm or yellow if the slice and dice method was used.
