This absolutely stunning colony of Symphyllia wilsoni from Extreme Corals DE is one of those stupendous corals that has it all: a colorful mantle, contrasting oral disc, orange mouths all riding a perfect shape colony that is just begging to be someone’s centerpiece coral.

And the tiny creature, barely visible in the middle of the photo, pygmy seahorse…actually is a fish…cute and monogamic, which is not very typical for fishes…and it has a bag on the belly, bit like marsupials…which is used to grow spawn to give a birth to even smaller pygmy seahorses…and the parent giving a birth is a male…so, not bizarre at all
