They’re cool, but not quite that cool.
It’s appreciated that you do this for the flashlight fans that can’t easily/affordably get the Limited Edition (or even 3rd gen for that matter) Eneloops.

I think they should have just kept eneloop like it was and write Panasonic where is used to say SANYO instead of writing it like they did.

The botton tops look a little different on the pic also, I know Panasonic Evolta (pretty much the same specs as eneloop) are made in China while the Sanyo Eneloops were made by Fujitsu in Japan. Any idea if the new eneloops are made in Japan or China?
The new eneloops are still being mAde in Japan.
And will they still be considered 3rd generation Eneloops? Or will there be any changes in specs?
sb56637; these are considered 4th generation. (at least by me)
they have a 2100 cycle count, against the 1800 for the 3rd generation
4th generation eneloops have their venting holes back! all models, PRO, Lite and classic

These are probably the last eneloop batteries I will sell.
I don’t know when/if panasonic will ever be going to produce special editions.
And these are getting harder to get, many shops already stopped carrying them.
Never say never, but at least the ones I’m selling now are not being produced anymore.
Many thanks to ChibiM! I just received my Eneloop rouge batteries in perfect shape and in record time via Japan airmail. I feel bad, it probably cost ChibiM an arm and a leg to ship them to me. And a really nice surprise… there’s 9 batteries in this package, not 8! The pink ones aren’t really my taste, but who cares about the color— these are 3rd gen Eneloops made in Japan, and that’s what matters. He even threw in two LR44 batteries to boot. This was a wonderful transaction, thanks again!
