If they would make this light with a bat tube twice as long, then it would be a nice one. But like this it just doesn’t look good.
And to be honest - to mod a King to 12 Nichias or XP-L isn’t that hard if you own a lathe

This new light looks to be about the same size and shape as the Zebralight S6330. It’s probably a lot smaller than a Skyray King…. good for people who like the brightest possible light in the smallest possible package.
As-is, this light looks pretty awesome. However, I’d like to see a similarly stubby light with a smaller head. A more cylindrical shaped light would fight in the coat pocket better. Maybe reduce the emitters to 3 triples instead of 4.

I think I’ll get two of these M43s - one Nichia and the other, de-domed XP-L. Not a good time buying anything overseas with the AU$ to US$ crashing making everything more expensive. Luckily it won’t be out until March or maybe later. It’ll allow me to save up a bit more!
