My JM07 is soo old it doesn’t have a side switch. It’s the original heavy 26650 that people were turning into hot rods with SST-50’s and SST-90’s. When I first got it it had one of the first XM-L T6’s in it. Torchlite was the maker I believe, then Shadow made the fins smaller and put more on it. A much better built light than it’s current clones like the F13.
The Miller went a little nuts, but bunch of info here in post #2 of the GB thread: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/39069/2. I got a manual posted in docx and PDF format - link is there in the post, and a video showing the ramping - some minor tweaks made since the video, so needs to be updated.
With Narsil, one of 12 mode sets can be selected (1 to 8 modes), or, a smooth ramping UI (150 levels). Moon mode level can actually be user tweaked. My 4X SRK clone has it with 0.1 lumens to ~5,400 lumens in a 3D NW tint. Also have it in a Skilhunt H15, using a color SMD LED in the switch as a locator/LVP indicator.
Yea, I do like Bistro as well. Actually stole/borrowed some code from Bistro so we have some shared bode in both.
About the same size as a BLF/LuckySun D80 with the tailcap removed, but with a thicker tube. So yes small and pocket size, but slightly bulky. So if you have a D80 remove the tailcap and hold it in your hand and imagine a thicker tube.
…………….
At half the price this looks like a good budget answer to the somewhat similar Olight R50 Seeker (XHP50 2500 lumens) about the same size head with the Olight being nearly one inch longer, (42x133mm) I was psyched when I first saw the R50 but calmed down soon as I remembered Olight doesn’t do NW.
HI can easily reach 400 to 500meters.HD is around 300meters.I am not good at throw test. But puting one C8 side by side,thThe throw of Pk26 is overpass C8 alot
Please tell us more about the driver in this light. Can 2x26350 be used in the long (1x26650) version? That may be more efficient given the boost driver, and would reduce tail current and associated resistance losses. Thanks.
Wow, looks like a great light, price is not too high for what it offers… but how do I choose between Coffee Black and Champagne Yellow ? No option in the shop…
