I am currently starting my own business selling flashlights online and locally. I am in the process of creating a website and contacting manufacturers.
This is my first order from ThruNite and I am super impressed with the quality of their flashlights. I did some lux readings and ceiling bounce tests this weekend comparing all of my lights. The TN31 was miles ahead of my throwers.

TN31 XM-L2 U2 1C (1376 lumens)- $135 (SOLD OUT)
TN31 XM-L U2 (1147 lumens)- $115 (SOLD OUT)

*TN30 XM-L U2 (3000 lumens)- $140 (*SOLD OUT)

Thanks! They are far from professional photos though.
These lights are insane, I think I am going to have a hard time buying any other lights now. I'm not trying to be a salesman but the amount of light these put out is jaw dropping.
i grabbed a new tn30 xml2 u2 from joe today on ebay for $179.99 (shipping included)… easily the best price i could find and ships from usa instead of overseas
I’m pleased for you, but I live overseas.
Hey Woody, I can ship overseas for you.
It will be an additional +$40 shipped to London via USPS Priority.
Joe, best of luck with this!
And now my original thought… “ please, dear god, make it stop…!”
Can I not go through an entire day without having to buy one more light that I really, really want?!
Did I forget NEED?, I NEED one of these!
Thanks a lot.
When I get the website up and running I will have more of ThruNites product line.
I think everyone "needs" to try one of these lights. The TN30 and TN31 are in my top 5 favorite lights.
good to hear – I like the direction thrunite has gone with the TN series… now that we have a fellow BLF dealer with good prices …. what can go wrong?
Yep, awesome lights indeed. The only thing the TN31 could do with is a diffuser for close proximity work.
I know it’s designed to be a S&R light but it would be nice to be able to walk the dog and use some spill without getting blinded from the intense spot.
I’m hoping they manufacture one as only the Catapult has them available at the moment as far as I can tell.
thats why you need both the tn31 and the tn30
Are they guaranteed "flicker free"? I've had two one old and new version both suffer from the flickering on certain levels.
I read somewhere that te SR91 diffuser fits this light perfect

Yup, I check all lights before they ship.
LOL, absurdly crazy:
Subtotal $17.99
Shipping $94.81
Grand Total $112.80
Holy cow! That's insane.
Here is mine:
yeah, what can I say, interplanetary shipping is expensive
I made my own well one at least. The wife works for a local charity that specialises in Arts and Crafts. She brought me home some white acrylic sheet with a perfect tint.
I cut out the correct diameter circle and glued Neoprene to the sides so it just pops over the bezel. It works flawlessly for diffusing with not much light output loss.
TN30 done, TN31 still to do
I have a limited quantity of lights remaining.
Congrats on all of your sales Joe!!

Hi
JOEHow is the New TN31 (XM-L2 1376 lumen) beam profile? Exactly same like old TN31 but brighter, any “beam ring” ?
Does beam tint appeared in pure white, no yellowish/greenish/blueish?
Thank you.
Thanks a lot, I plan to make another order but I think ThruNite may raise their prices.
The XM-L2 is very similar to the XM-L version. The color temperature is pretty much pure white. The beam has a smooth spill that leads into a well defined center hotspot and it doesn't have any rings.
Some people say that some TN31s and TN30s have a green tint to them but I haven't noticed it on the lights I have. I'm fairly picky when it comes to color temperature of flashlights and I have no problem with the TN31.
Prices reduced on remaining U2 versions.

I am also offering a complete polish/tightening of the carrier and headplate for an additional $5. This not only eliminates flickering, it also increases overall light output by over 5%.

Are these lights glued shut or can the reflectors be removed to access the emitter?

On my personal ones I can access the tailcap for sure. There was loctite on the tailcap threads but it was still easy to remove. I have GITD tailcaps on my TN31 and my TN30.
I'll have to check when I get back home to see if I can get to the reflector. My guess is that I will be able too.

Thank you Sirius9
I’m going to have to figure that out before I leave this earth
Congratulations Joe and best of luck with your new task!!
ThruNite is an excellent brand to carry.
If you wish, please free to use any of my images of Thrunite flashlights that i have posted on the ‘Flashlight Photography’ thread.
I already own the TN30, TN31, TN31 XM-L2 and Catapult. Amazing lights!!
Good luck again!!
