Here we go again! Today the postman surprised me with another touching display of generosity from our wonderful BLF members.
Amazing! A flashlight appears in the mail from China with the initials of my website! Incredibly cool. And the flashlight? Absolutely fantastic. If you don’t recognize it already, it’s the DQG Tiny 18650, complete with a Japanese-made NCR18650A battery. This thing is SO tiny for an 18650 light, I thought it was an AA light when I first opened the gift box. But the blindingly bright output of this thing belies its tiny footprint. This light is SERIOUSLY bright. Better still, the schemers behind this beautiful gift ordered it with a neutral white tint, which gives beautiful color rendition in addition to dazzling brightness. All of this in a pint-sized flashlight with a wonderful clip that can be easily forgotten in a pocket.
Although the diminutive DQG Tiny can be forgotten in a pocket, the huge generosity behind this touching gift can not be forgotten. Thank you SO MUCH, yet again, to the wonderfully kind and generous folks that conspired to make this humble website admin a happy man! I’m very much indebted to all of you.

Just in case, did you check the o-ring on the lense came in the right position?
Apparently a lot come in the wrong place (more info in the DQG 18650 threads) and a quick re-positioning can really improve the beam profile, which could make it even better
You’re going to have to change your location in your profile. Between all of these nice lights, I don’t think you will ever be in the dark again.
Congrats SB! I think you have the only BLF one there is.
Welcome the night.

nice gesture indeed.. congrats
The only way to do a great work is to love what you do.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion! Sure enough, it was in the wrong place (between the bezel and the front of the optic). This review helped me to re-position it. Much smoother beam profile now. 8)

You can say that again!

Also, check if there are TWO O-rings on the threads on the body – one of mine had none, and the other had one, whereas there should be two of them. Make a difference as far as how smooth it is and prevents flashing when the head is pushed.
Congratulations, and enjoy it as much as I/we enjoy being here :)!!
You are an excellent and very fair forum moderator, thanks for your hard work mate.

Who is this sb guy anyway. Why does he get all these free lights. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I need a name change.
Whoever you are sb, you are a lucky bugger receiving free lights. You must really deserve them.

Congrats SB!
Some forums accept donations, others require donations (ahem) to have a fully functional user account.
BLF, on the other hand, only requires friendliness.
