what hobby charger ?

hi guys, i was thinking to buy one of these

has anyone here any experience with this one or can you recommend any other good charger that will give me exact readouts…i must say that i have absolutely no experience with this category of chargers so i guess good instruction manual is of essential importance

Here's the manual.

This looks nice, but the manual seems to indicate max charge voltage is limited to 4.2v for Li-Ions- useless for me, I'm looking for one that can do the 4.35v cells. Hard to tell for sure - I submitted a question on it to the seller.

4.35 volt for LiIon is not common on hobby chargers. The iCharger can be adjusted up to 4.30 volt.

That looks like it would be a damned nice upgrade from my Turnigy Accucell 6. I for one will be watching how this thread runs out.

here it is for even less…

this?

Banggood has been shipping faster the Fasttech.

Nice find!

Looks good and all, but the charge current is only 55W and the discharge current is 5W.

Might not be enough for your needs, especially if you want to discharge at more than 1A.

What, Eagletac has balance charger? :stuck_out_tongue:

Now that looks really cool! Can't find much info or any reviews on this baby. Damn!

There is one more model and it looks even cooler

well, you got me…i must confess that i will not be using this charger for racing model cars or flying few thousand dollars worth helicopter models, but in the old days when i was using only AA and AAA batteries i had few chargers and eventually ended buying voltcraft IPC1 also known as LaCrosse BC-900 so i could not find any similar charger for 18650 that will discharge each individual battery with chosen current and then charge them while showing how many mAh has each cell stored…basically i just want to see what happens with charging cycle…on the nitecore I4 or any similar i cannot read the voltage or mAh…i guess i am “using a cannon to kill a mosquito” J)

If that’s the case, a Accucel-6 would fulfill all your needs without the touch panel and the price. I think they go around for $30 shipped.

If you want absolute accuracy, go with the iCharger 106B+, you can’t beat those two for a hobby charger.

Accucel-6, I have them on speed dial

also Accucel-8, not bad either :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree :)

Hobby King has a couple hobby chargers with integrated power supplies that look attractive, but the reviews on them aren't good. How good is Hobby King's warranty support? That's likely to play a big part in what hobby charger I end up with.

Usually not worth the cost to send something back to HK.

I thought they were in Washington state. Unless I'm mistaken, I would think that's where returns would and should go to, and that wouldn't cost much.

My ICharger has done a power of work has has shown to be 100% reliable.
