I’ll keep everyone posted. But it’s going to hit fifty without a problem at all. It might be at that by now.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank 18sixfifty for taking on this mammoth effort and offering to do mods on the lights.

I have only just found out that for more reasons than one, not due to anyones fault, that he will be a out of pocket a substantial amount of money on this group buy that he was not going to worry about. Most of this was PayPal fees, need I say anymore. This makes him a far better bloke than I already knew he was. If you can slip the guy a couple of dollars please feel free.

Group buys are not about making money but there not about losing money either. Thanks and hopefully the short fall will be made. Smile

I will also post this in the other thread.

^^ What he said…

If you selected pay for goods, then you passed the fees onto a non profit operation. By making the payment to friends or family, you pay the fees. Im not sure how PayPal works for sellers but I hope there isnt more fees 18sixfifty will have to cover.

It could easily add up to $100 out of pocket. So just check you PP, did you pay fees on the transaction? If not, 18sixfifty will be. Its not just the dollar or two you might have missed (if you did), but imagine that times 70 people. I have no idea how many missed it, Im just saying. And Im not talking about currency conversion rates either, thats another factor we have to cover.

Just check, and be sure youve covered your couple of extra bucks. As above, Im not blaming anyone, its just one of those things. Im just spelling out how this happens in case you were unaware.

The order has been sent. I’m just waiting now for them to send me the final invoice and for them to let me know how long they expect shipment to take.

Thanks for helping and supporting this effort.

I am sorry that the CS staff “ noel” haven’t notcied the logo problem before offering you the wholesale price.

The manufactuer can print the logo only if the quantity is over 200 quantity, I am sorry that we can’t find another supplier at present now.

This was fasttechs response to the order I sent today. Please see the first post in this thread. Contact me for your refund or let me know if you still want your order or part of your order.

sorry to hear fasttech’s response with the logo problem, specially after the huge effort you made to get all our orders and creating the spreadsheet, etc.
Fasttech is proving to be what many members have been saying during the last months: a broken dream; good beginning with supreme CS, but the quality have fallen at a light speed
I didn’t order a host, and would like to receive the drivers and emitters anyway because they have a great price, but if you all guys decide to cancel the order to punish FT, I will do so too

Mooooooo

Dont stress out 18sixfifty.

Whatevers the least work for you at this stage is good for me. You have done heaps already and shoudnt have to worry about a refund.

I suggest to go ahead with the group buy without the logo. Its still the light that 18sixfty dreamt to be a BLF pocket thrower.

One day this will be the BLF torch collectors item same as those dollar or sterling notes with a misprint that goes up in value. Smile

Thanks guys, I’ll go ahead for anyone who wants to and cancel for those who don’t.

It’s still a pretty good deal and should be a great light.
