Sigh… what a day, first I was tracking the light from Banggood. It showed that delivery attempt was made yesterday at 6:25 pm and driver left note that there’s no safe place to put it and notice was put on door.
what a piece of #@$! lazy driver… somebody is always home and there’s no notice left.
He probably knew that there’s nothing I can do to complain at that hour as business hour is closed.
what ticked me the most is… these things happened quiet often, someday it says it was delivered which isn’t, someday it just says notice is left … which then again no notice was left.
I’ve been quietly brush it off, but I think this guy started to push my button, especially I was waiting for the new flashlight to play with
Then the bell rang this morning and I was ready to give my USPS driver an earful of comments that sure will make his day unpleasant too.
But to my delight… it was DHL instead and he brought me some goodies from Warsun
Bunch of nice solid lights that have heft feel to it … I didn’t get the chance to put the battery in them yet and then the disaster struck!
As I happily put the last Warsun light to the shelf, it collapsed to the table below and sending avalanche of flashlights down to the floor with GOD awful rumble noise that I will never soon forget, followed by a loud and long F word that I can’t repeat it here and more F words that I ever said in a minute than I ever said a month |( :_(
Although I managed to block the shelf from falling down to the ground, unfortunately there’s so many flashlights that escape from the table to the floor below.
Such a heart breaking scene I tell you :_(
As it turn out upon close inspection… the nails that was used to hold the shelf is not deep enough as it was embedded in the wall plaster instead of the wood beams.
I have nobody else to blame, except myself as I was the one that installed it :Sp |(
with such heavy mixed emotion, I start to collect the lights one by one and inspect the damage… there’s few nicks on several lights… nothing major but some the expensive one didn’t escape the nicks either.
Surprisingly non of the lights suffer any crack or broken lens, so I laid them all on the living room and going to try to fix this shelf and buy longer wood screws :weary:
I guess the shelf could no longer held the additional weight of 20 new flashlights and 80 lithium batteries this month
So what’s your story?
edit bad luck streak still continue, Finally I get the chance to test all my new Warsun light, one of them A10 is DOA… sigh :_(
