My order status didn't change yet. Right after ordering it showed "order paid" and it is still the same today. I also didn't get any email. What's wrong?

I've received mine, and my order status never changed from 'order paid'.

Still says it now.

I find mine easier to use on a nitecore headband. The included rubber mount doesn't work with the clip, and is very difficult to install. The nitecore headband has an additional strap over the top of your head, and holds the headlight much more firmly while also allowing mounting with the clip intact (and much easier to slip into the headband).

The included one was also too soft and weak so felt un-retentive.

The PWM is still annoying me, but at $20 i can try to look over it, But definitely not for use as a headlight for when I'm working in the workshop.. Which is what I bought it for. Machining on the lathe is not fun at all with a strobing light.

Drop testing.

Well I suppose that I will be the first to do Drop testing review, (at least, from that batch)

I prefer to let things like runtime, beam profile, led intensity and things like that to more qualified people…

So here I come with my invaluable data, “dropping test”…

First of all we will need few rare elements

1        really stupid owner of a Ultrafire UF-H2

2        A new Ultrafire UF-H2

3        Magnetic surface

Once you have all that ingredients, you mix them….

And what you get is a 1,8  meter free fall, and a heart attack.

Good news is that the Ultrafire UF-H2 is still alive and works like when I get it just few hours ago from post office.

Bad news is that it had a really deep scratch. So, like  wise people uses to say:

“It’s the same to be killed by one shot, than by ten”… and I didn’t have so much to loose so I came up with an idea..

That is the best you can get with such "elements"....Embarassed

Got an email mine was sent.  Now the wait begins.  This is the part I love most with all the HK/Chinese vendors.    I need to be on prozac or something from the time I order until it arrives.

My UF-H2b arrived in the mail this morning.

(Posted from HK on 26/7/11)

Initial impressions are very good.

Very small - About the size of a Quark Mini AA.

I like the brief flash when you screw the tailcap down alerting you to the closed circuit.

You can easily open the circuit with a quarter turn of the tailcap to avoid any parasitic drain from the switch.

Will be playing with this when it gets dark around here.

Cheers,

Tim

I'm in Calif also. I ordered my lights (2) right when the clock struck 12:01 a.m. on the 20th, so I had to be one of the first in the western USA to order one. I got an e-mail saying it shipped on July 30th. Is there a method to their shipping order, or just pick and send? That's alright as i have other lights I've been waiting a long time for too.

I'm in PA and USPS tried to deliver today, but my wife was not home or didn't hear the mail man to sign for it.  I'll pick mine up at the post office tomorrow.

If I had one or two of these I would be measuring 105 lumens with a 14500 flame and 80 lumen with a Rayovac Platinum NiMh. Of course thats pure speculation. Probably

Semur / Summer,

Just wanted to find out if you can verify my order AND my mailing address. I have been concerned about my order because DinoDirect's website showed my address without a city. My repeated attempts to verify the information have been unanswered (including a PM directly to you). I did NOT receive a tracking number either, so I have no way of verifying where my order is. Can you please PM me with some sort of confirmation? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.

the US post office finally did their job

thanks for putting this together i have been wanting this form factor for a long time , now i want an 18650 model lol.

overall i think the process was flawless IMO and pretty fast - only issue was i had was to sign for it - i didnt expect that and it delayed it.

i generally dont use registered mail or whatever unless its an expensive order , also i will check your site in the future. thanks again

i will post a review on the review page for this light some over all thoughts

also i cant stop playing with this thing , the low PWM is trippy when waving it around - to bad i dont ... n/m

Mine arrived today well packed but in small plastic bags with the light wrapped in bubble wrap inside and the headband loose in the bag.  I'm guessing the boxes that some received ran out and the rest of us got the less expensive packaging.  I paid it no mind as both lights work and I didn't care about the box anyway.

I must say they are exactly as advertised and shipping was at least as fast as manafont.  If this is how DinoDirect is going to handle all orders from this point forward, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.  Well done on the shipping, the communication, the price and the product.

Bravo! just keep it up.

My two arrived today, and in boxes!Laughing

In fairness, since I made my concerns public, Semur did in fact verify the okayness of everything. Thanks Semur.

Just got it (boxed version).  And I must say that I am now kicking myself in the ass for not grabbing 2 of these.

Pffffft.....no coupon email for me. Sad   Will prolly still post my thoughts at some point in the other review thread.

My two arrived today, without boxes, but in good shape. Thanks Semur and Agenthex for this.

I tried one of them with a 14500. It works well, but I was unable to mesure the current at the tailcap. It just does a flicker and no reading was possible. It seems the driver doesn't work when there is a DMM in the loop.

Mine seems to arrive next week together with the UF-2100 XM-L 3 mode bought from DD, hope everything is ok and I´ll made a small review. I received today from DinoDirect  order 910S3375-DD that´s a C1 tube SKU:A13930000I and 2 Trustfire Flames with a charger SKU:A06740000K, and for my disapointment one of the batteries are dead. Hope Semur can help me with this problem, I already open a RMA.

Try charging the dud battery. The protection has probably tripped.
