Drivers are as expected, package was great, and that was the FASTEST regular shipping i ever had: shipped on 3.11, recieved on 4.11.

You’re turning down MONEY just because you don’t have the drivers in hand? Man, you need to talk to the Chinese companies…

Hmm, I forgot to actually post here that I ordered some. Did I make it in time? I placed my order about a week ago.

I found a final home for my last LD-1 today. Picked up my first Sunwayman light, got it yesterday, the little Tomahawk C20C. While it’s UI wasn’t really bad and it had a nice feature or two, it was also only able to do 1.8A. So, I pulled it’s thin aluminum star with XM-L2 emitter and fitted a 20mm Noctigon equipped with an XP-G2 emitter. Now it has a tighter hot spot and runs 4.45A making 811 lumens out the front. Smile

Love it when a plan comes together! And it’s the size of a AA light, somehow it takes an 18650. I’ve got it stuffed with a 3200mAh Panasonic BD cell for the above numbers. Should last a good long while especially in the lower modes.

Driver is solidly grounded, has a bit of a brass sink soldered in to ground as well, and is potted in a good protective layer of Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive.

Small package, big light, nice modes. Sweet!

I coudnt fit ld 1 in Yezl, the main issue is crossing from the original board to the LD 1-its just too much wiring and not solic contacts, but in c12 it shines, 5.02 amps!

Now i have to find a nice hd 2010, its default driver diameter is 17mm

LD 1 driver is realy nice, i would need 2 more, nice work Neven, watching the awailability like a hawk

On the road X6M has potential too, but again its default driver is 30.5mm..

Hy,

i put one LD-1 into a HD2010 instead of the Fasttech V10+ and changed LED from XM-L U2 to XM-L2 U3 dedomed. KLux/Kcd got up from 125 KLux/Kcd to 212 KLux/Kcd. Focussing the LED into the reflector is a pain but it´s worth it Wink

Greetings

Kenjii

Well, finaly i was able to got ld-1 up to 3.5 amps in Y3, but the problem is there is too much wiring and crossings from the original driver to the ld1- i like it that way, yet, i will try hd2010 anyway

Whats your hd2010 version btw? There are soooo many of those…

The Tangsfire TS2010 is one of the nicer variants I've seen. Can't remember where I got it..oh yeah...Old_Lumens did a group buy on it a while back. Smile Still can't remember where it came from exactly. But it's nice. Smile

Edit: Why don't you try it in a Eagle Eye X6? Should be an easy swap and make that little light very impressive, especially if you de-dome an XP-G2 for it. Smile

True, I found that a thrower with a Y3 style and one battery fits most in my Ak103
I ordered Ultrafire hd2010 and Tangsfire HD2010 ( pretty cheap), will see whitch one has a better reflector and finnish
Sure i will try it on X6! I have one ordinary x6, i will mod it eventyaly, but i am out of drivers, i put one on my c12, the other in the y3 that i sold already, will need 2-3 ld1 , maybe more in future, its hell of a nice driver

BLF x6 i will keep intact, i like it alot

Since i became an active member here, i bought like 15 flashlights Smile Good!, hehe

The package was processed through ISC Chicago on the 18th, so it should be in customs. I would bet two weeks to clear and arrive at it's destination, but you never ever know for sure. Customs can be easy or hard and it's now the dreaded "holiday season".Frown

So everybody, just hang in there, it will happen.

Waiting? What waiting, i got them in a day! Croa post rules! Smile

Its hell of a nice driver, i am glad i have found that offer, Neven, can we just pay you, and when you got them you straight ship? Its not biggie, at least for me

P.S I got several direct drivers, modded some 17mm 7135 too , got the OSH BLF17DD from mountain, but they can compare to LD 1, it has ramp feature, warnings, temp protection, exellent wire wholes, great mosfet( it need a tiny Cu headsing on it) exellent features…great! Realy

I appreciate the thought from Mitko but I’m not sure I understand the comparison — has anyone done a side by side table for comparing these drivers?

I' m sure that someone who has used all those drivers himself has a pretty good idea how they compare, even without neat tables Wink , I do understand that.

Is there any way to reduce cost of these with a large enough group order and what would the number be? Love the driver idea, but it almost doubles the cost of the lights I want to put them in…
