Any chance…. you guys might have bumped the output to 9500 lumens… and call this bad boy MT03?
Yes, MT03 devourer.
Blow is flat matt black anodizing, looks and feel very good , but when i use it outdoor Yestoday , it gets dirty easy. Final big batch is less flat and will be ready for shipping next week.

Thanks for the update. “Devourer” is a nice name, but it doesn’t really roll off the tongue nicely… or is it just me?
I’m getting mixed signals here. Is the turbo mode part of the lowlow-low-mid-high-(turbo?) sequence or not? It seems that this is the case for the MT03, but for the thrower model MT07 it seems that turbo is a memorised hidden mode only… Can you please enlighten me? Thanks!

Hey guys turbo mode is 2.5 minutes then after that it is temperature regulated stepdown if the light is over 56 degrees Celsius it will step down slowly. The light will be tested in a professional integrated sphere. Numbers will be posted here. 9500-10000 lumen sounds about right running 3 XHP70 @ 12 amps.
Is there any possibility of a BFF discount coupon? I’m seriously wanting to buy one of this monsterlight, but the price range is off my budget.
Thanks for any “help”.

Does the final driver 12.0 amps to the leds!? HaikeLite self says something around 10.8 amps (8500~9000 Lumen) max. …
Hello Haikelite. Have you guys made a official release yet with production pictures? You mention it’s for sale already, I’m really curious because you’ve definitely been one of the more responsive companies in this forum. Thanks.

Hi KutKhemist
The pictures are from Prototype I II and III. First picture is close to final product.
Final products will be ready this weekend. Will release official final pictures by then.

Total Watts on a full batteries charge will be around 88 watts so divide that by 3? 8.4 volts with two full cells but we will call it at 8 volts flat. So 8 times 11 is 88 watts
Cree states that a XHP70 needs 32 watts each to achieve 4k lumens each emitter in this light will be getting about 29.3 watts so fairly close to the target of 32 watts.
This set up should achieve around 11k lumen at the LEDs? With loses around 9500-1000k lumens?

the output and UI is sounding very very good. lets hope the host has good heatsinking properties to have it run on turbo more than 2 minutes….

You have to take the voltage over the LED into account and not over the cells. The light is obviously current controlled, one LED gets a current of about 3.7 A, at this current Cree states a forward voltage of 6.41 V which implies 23.7 Watts only.
I’m driving my Convoy L6 (single XHP70) with up to 12 A, according to djozz’s tests this implies a forward voltage of about 7.6 V. The LED is still working …
Haikelite has never responded to my pm’s. Remember when they first asked to be messaged regarding buying their lights? I messaged them that day. They started so well. I wonder what happened. I already took a risk ordering an unproven light, and this is pushing me towards cancelling my order. Now if Haikelight wants to alleviate my concerns regarding risk by refunding me and shipping my light as a review unit, knowing that they’ll get a short review without the plethora of glamour photos and videos that full blown reviews here get, I’d be very happy with that.
As far as I know the light is delayed and could be further delayed they sent a sample away to get professionally tested in a light box. They do not want to release the light unless it has met the figures they stated of at least 9000 lumens. Plus they had to make sure the custom programming was okay. Turbo mode runs for 2.5 minutes without stepdown.
Sounds like they were/are rushing things. The light is not ready, but it’s already for sale on Amazon. Then they don’t reply to mails. So how well are these lights tested if a lot of last minute decisions are made? It would be nice if we got a reply from Haikelite.
Yea. I do not think that many changes where implemented they where all minor. Look at every group buy we have the lights are not finished but we still buy them it’s not a big deal to pre-order . Plus the other issue is Chinese time is 2 hours before mine here. So when he is on at this time it’s like 1 am in China. It’s 3am here but I fell asleep 5pm yesterday afternoon so I am up lol. Then he has to work all day it’s only the one rep doing all this!

I agree that the changes are minor. Nevertheless I do feel that these changes that are made should have occurred some months before release of the lights, and not recently as it is the case. It just doesn’t feel right to me… The lights are also available on Amazon for purchase, and are not sold as a pre-order… Like I said, it feels like they’re rushing things…

It’s not just you.

Ah ok, thanks! Too bad for me but ah well…
You finally sell the MT03 with 9500 lumen output on amazon.de e.g.;
do you really have tested this or are these ‘china-lumen’!??
' Lumen est omen '
Hope is no option!
I would like to know what cells you are selling with your lights. Your website says timed temperature step down. How long can it last on Turbo?
Best regards,
Tom
Ah wow, the light can already be ordered! I missed that. Over 9000 of neutral lumens sound very attractive…
What kind of shipping is there to the Netherlands?

Dear Haikelite,
I would kindly ask you if you can tell us when the shipping will finally start? I bought the light through Amazon.
Regards,
Tom
Nothing new here? Did anyone have contact to Haikelite? I don’t get any answer since a few days…

The low mode should be lower.
I contacted them by E-mail the whole time. That worked quite well. But a few days ago they stopped answering… I also think about canceling the order…
Very nice. I like the double hole for the camera strap.
Here are all my reviews on BLF
Very nice in case this is going to turn out well…
