Seems like DD is sort of the pet Chinese seller on this site for whatever reason. I thought that their presence and generous deals warrants a corner where we could find all the deals and codes and such. So if anyone was planning on ordering from them, they could just check this thread and get all their gift cards, points, coupons etc and get the best deal.

as my signature suggests i have placed 5 DD orders. when time will come, i will let you guys know which orders (hopefully all!!) have arrived and within which time frame and whether lol they delivered the correct shit and the items were all in fine condition or not. adding all 5 orders (my paypal account), total money paid: 74.xx US$
, which is not too much given the regular value (then again, the regular value is difficult to calculate because who (which seller) is the reference? HKE? EBAY? AMAZON? DX? MF? KD? WTF? HAHA?).
I know that this seller is rated as "[AVOID]" .. but i really didnt want to resist: brand name lights on sales offer (e.g. Sunawayman, Klarus, Jetbeam), then the insane coupons (13.00$ off 50$+ carts, ..) and easy-to-collect Dinopoints, and last but not least the giftcards (=code+password) when you encounter some f*ck up with your placed order and complain thru the chat channel.
Let's see what this month of January brings us. Prices go up? Or new sales? (Chinese New Year, Chinese 2 weeks Spring Festival)
At this point i do not encourage people to order from DD or i do not recommend DD because i have so many pending orders. But rest assured that i will post my experience once i got all shit together. And then you can take my case as example, good or bad.
So wanna wait together with me for my DD orders to arrive? haha
DD is not for the feint of heart. It's guerrilla warfare with them and only savvy shoppers survive. I know kreisler qualifies DD is like a playground for him.

For me it's obvious that DD have no info about TQM. Here, Summer tries to sell and to do that she tries lots of things. In their site Gerry named man tries to convince people to write positive reviews in well known seller evaluating sites by promising discounts, free coupons etc. But, at the total people doesn't believe them due to lack of trust. Ok, as an example people also have complaints about Dealextreme but, only delivery times as i observed. But, we know they send you what they promissed and they stay behind their promisses. In industrilaized countries there is a term as Total Quality Management which makes a brand good or bad. So, i think this term is not so common for China yet.
on cpf the mods discovered that kreisler is working undercover (CIA) for DD and DX. joint Chinese venture.
they never told me but i think that's the reason why they got me expulsed haha.

I understand you very well. Most of us acting like you, but some of us don't have time to read crap from DD Customer Service when something happend with order and fighting for your right and money. Buying and selling is some kind of deal, trade. Giving somebody money (your money) for something expect something what you pay for. Right? If someone cheats you want justice. So I can't recommend Dino Direct like a trusted seller and would like say: AVOID - don't waste your time reading and writing messages to CS which expects that you give up. And I think it's bad idea to stick DD coupons/deals because we promote scammers.
I say give DD a chance, and I hope they keep the nice coupons coming. On my first order, they sent me the wrong flashlight but luckily it was easy to sell it on, plus DD gave me a decent coupon (of course forcing me to spend more $$ again :).
I've placed two small orders since then, and if they arrive correct I plan on spending a lot more (if the coupons remain).
The thing I like about DD is that we knowingly take some risk and understand the shipping delay in order to save some money. I'm glad they exist, and as long as they give decent coupons when they mess up, I'm happy. I'll keep spending as long as the deals keep coming.
I placed an order through DD. All my stuff came in time but they ship it as it comes not all at once. Everything did work that they sent me as well. DX is the worst I have dealt with. They are the slowest and many of the lights they sent me were DOA. I rarely order from them anymore.
I am not paid by DD but do want some coupon codes and gift card codes if any one has them. I plan on placing another order but hunting around for the coupons is frustrating.
Where is that $13 off a $50 order coupon? That sounds good. Also, how do I score a gift card? I want to use a gift card, coupon and Dino points all together and get a great deal.

Do you now what? I give you 50% off coupon for my stuff. Stuff is worth for me $100. This is a decent flashlight worth $150. If you need take some risk... hmm.... don't know what I send you: flashlight or my old kettle, so it's a risk. I don't show you flashlight pics because it's a part of risk (like some descriptions and pics on DD website). And you can expect some delay in shipping (you know: weather condition, holiday mess, customs delays, some post office strike) but you can expect wonderful coupon for next purchase. Ohh... almost forgot. If you recieve flashlight (your hope) and you will be not satisfied you can sell them - it's overseas and exotic stuff (if you recieve flashlight of course).

Hey flashrider, there are a lot of complaints, but the same is often said of DX and I've rec'd all my orders from them.
I ordered a nitecore EX-11 and DD sent me a nitecore ez-aa. I was able to sell it locally for a profit, plus DD gave me an $8 coupon (worked out fine by me!). I knew DD screwed up because they sent me a picture of the wrong light, and from reading a lot of forums, you generally will get whatever they send you the picture of, even if it is wrong item like a red lips phone! The item they sent me was uniquely identifiable from the photo they sent so they are not scamming and sending fake photos. I have since purchased a couple cheap items (batteries,etc) and the orders appeared to go smoothly, with the correct items pictured. I have little doubt they'll get here within a couple weeks.
I just don't buy it that they are out to scam us. I do believe they are a big company that sells tons of cheap items, and that they make more mistakes than most. They'd make more money without the mistakes, so I don't buy it that the errors are deliberate.
If you have some reason to believe the folks here saying they're dropping $100+ on lights are fakers, then maybe I'd change my opinion. What happened in your instance?

What happend in my instance? I don't recieved some stuff and have to fight with them (it's boring).
What is my point of view?
1. This topic is in wrong place - this is not deal alert but question.
2. They are marked "AVOID" and DD it's not trusted seller for many of us (members BLF).
3. I don't see reason for sticking every seller on this forum just because they have good deals for making profits and cheating buyers, especially when they don't respect buyers rights. They don't deserve it.
4. And many many more.
I really like DD, its a great store.
Im going to be making my next few purchases from them.

I tried to place an order for over $80 last night but the site messed up and deleted all the items in my cart. The coupon code I used apparently won’t work now. It was save18offme and worked at first but then something glitched. I have been trying to contact the customer support but keep getting disconnected. I am starting to think it is a waste of time.
I've made 3 orders from them, I never received any of the 'shipping photos' but have received my Klarus P2a and Jetbeam BC40 in around the usual turn-around from china (2-3 weeks). I am just waiting on my Olight S65 now..
All of them were incredible prices btw:
Klarus P2a: UK RRP: £33, I paid £17
Jetbeam BC40: UK RRP: £70, I paid £24!
Olight S65: UK RRP: £85, I paid £39
I realise they aren't completely reliable, but if they at least try and deliver on their offers (and are willing to make it up to you if they mess up) it's worth taking the risk imo.
