It appears you are looking at 1st page 1st post list claiming you should be in for 2 @ $111. Yes your requests were with in the 555… BUT in order for the most people to receive the $111 price, that was limited to 1 per person at $111. With a special exception I can explain later or link The Miller post on it later.

The left number is the important number to be under 555 for the $14 payment/ $111 price. The Far right # is your place at time of request(s)

I don’t know how to wrap up my findings, but this should make sense enough or if someone else can wrap up what I’m trying to say?

I’m pretty sure you just went ahead an bought 2 lights based on your time of requests position in the list.

You are correct in your findings, the list was simply full before it got to his second light.

If we can get a list of the first 22 people, I would really like them to contact me if they have any questions about this. They are the only ones eligible and I would like to know if they ever got that later PM about the downpayment.

Here is the top 45 from Post #3. You just have to subtract 621 from the first number. Tom E is 622 - 621 = 1st, etc…

You have to remember that these are being shipped all over the world, no shipping containers involved. So no big discounts past normal commercial accounts prices either.

Yes I was thinking on Air containers ,much smaller , and DHL have HUB-s on all continents so as the majority of orders will be from US probably 65% some 30% EU, and 5% to the rest of the world explains how can price be lower than dual shipping option

This is a valid option, I was thinking big 40” shipping container.

They have not got that detailed about the shipping, so I really can’t comment.

This might help solve something.

It appears there were 32 first round slots to fill… not just 22. Ten were kept ‘in reserve’.

So who got those?

I would hope that once any missed payments were covered, if there actually were any; the count would be picked right up at #23 for second light requests.

Well done to all involved! I left the shipping with DHL as I can’t see it having any problems with Australia’s customs.

We are debating upgrading all US buyers to DHL, can anyone think of a reason to not use DHL to the USA?

I have one question. I chosen DHL but i would love to know which DHL eCommerce or DHL Express will be used for the GT? Two very different things, i would love to know if anyone has some info on this.

I asked M4D M4X already and it is DHL Express.

I am thinking that Miller didn’t update everything with the payments as the list from Neal showed several people that did pay twice. The total on the list was also 540, not 523. So all of these little things would lead me to say that Miller simply didn’t have the lists completely updated.

Of course Neal is who actually got the payments so his lists would naturally be more up to date.

For now we will stick with the first 22 to order a second light and see what they have to say if they contact me. They will be handled on a case by case basis.

Yeah, the first 19 on that list show no double down payments. I would expect a double from Tom E as he is first. Something does not seem right. It must be an old list.

So far as I dug up my findings about Canada taxes and duties of DHL, on LED lights those are duty-free but probably taxable. They just have declare this DHL package with “LED light or Light Emitting Diode” and everyone in Canada will pay less plus having tools to deal false duties on it.
