Hi everyone,

I'm happy to report that BLF is now running on a new host. It's a bit pricier than our previous host, but still less expensive than many other hosting options, because the Budget Light Forum had to be a on a Budget host. ;-) Despite that, the host has an excellent record and reputation among web professionals, and I have run tests that prove it to be dramatically faster than our previous host. But I'd like to hear how it works for you too.

Everything seems to be working well except e-mail notifications, which I hope to get worked out soon. Please let me know if you experience any other glitches.

I will comment that it does seem quite a bit faster loading for me. Seems snappy like I'd expect on a high-speed connection.

I'm not sure if it's just the placebo effect or not, but it does seem really fast for me too.

For me a traceroute completed with many fewer hops. On the old host it wouldn't even complete.

Very snappy except that now I can't post anything using Chrome browser. Have to load up the dreaded IE. Using Chrome I can enter text in the subject box but not the comment box. Tried clicking "Disable rich-text" but nothing happens when I click it.

Yes it is much faster! Almost instant page changing. Much Much better!

All is well here. Chrome 16.0.912.63 on Linux. Could you try to clear your cache and reboot please? Thanks!

Awesome Mr Admin!! Everything moving great here. Earlier I had tried to get on and was like "uh oh" not again. After the drupal message I was seeing I kinda figured this was what was happening.
