Just ordered 4 pcs. 30Q.
I got an email confirmation with tracking number. It did go to my junk email folder though.
still no reply from neal/banggood.
It just shows how little Banggood/Neal think of us - their customers. They could easily post something here to let us know what is going on - a word or two of reassurance that they will take of everyone - but not a word in how long?- almost 2 weeks. No replies to pm’s and no information about what people in countries like the US should do about returning the flattops - since we can’t mail them back to China because it’s against postal regulations.
You get a good deal from Bangbad on a flashlight so you want to give them more business and order the batteries that fit the light. The flashlight ordeal was a little rough but it did show up finally and in decent shape.
So you cross your fingers and hope the battery deal goes smoothly. The 21$ you lost on the deal is not going to hurt since you saved more than that on the light. So you write it off as a learning experience and NEVER EVER order from Bangbad again.
Both parties lose.
I was hoping they would make it right with everyone so we could continue to group buy from them but if Neal is representative of the company and the way they treat their customers then I for one will not do business with them.
I know right???
Bloody Neal was on 15 mins ago, WHY IS HE IGORING US CONTINIOUSLY???
Anyway…Paypal dispute opened…
Keep calm and open a dispute if you would like to motivate them.
Guys, he PM’d me 30 minutes ago. So he’s on the job.
As my old supervisor used to say: I’ll do my best, but I only have two hands and one head.
Patience is a virtue
. I sent my payment and PM on Wednesday, and Neal has just responded that he got the payment and my message.
Hang in there and all will be well. BG and Neal are working through the mess.
It would literally take him 1 minute to put all of our minds at ease…but because he is too lazy to do that, get will get a bunch of PayPal disputes and unhappy (yes more of them) customers.
This is pretty pathetic, even by Chinese seller standards.
Neal/Banggood answered my message about 9 hours ago, but I do not understand what he means.
Neal,
Transaction ID sent
I realize it’s the weekend so I don’t expect a fast response.
Sure, but you have to see, that some people here are waiting 2 weeks for a response…
Me too. Not for the 30Q, but for another Order that hasn’t arrived for 3 month.
BG doesn’t response, no matter, what I do. I thought, Neal answeres a bit faster than the CS on BG’s site, but no…
BG is (so far) my most favourite China-Shop. FastTech and Gearbest aren’t that good and trustworthy, even though BG is mostly a bit more expensive.
I do enjoy ordering from Banggood. I will continue to do so. This 30Q resolution really is taking an extraordinarily long time to solve, however. Neal messaged me earlier on today after I sent a follow-up PM. Still waiting to hear back.
Neal told me two people in his office left and the remaining have to do the extra work.
He seems veeery busy lately ![]()
and for those who did not know:
all that codes/groupbuy/ forum supporting is not his main job there - he is a flashaholic like us and does most of that in his sparetime.
please remember that we deal with persons!
being angry and calling him names is not fair… ![]()
Yeah, I’m not very impressed of the behavior of a lot of people in this thread. I know it’s really frustrating to deal with the CS and not getting replies to inquiries, but after the CNY I’m sure they have had a ton of backlog to deal with, and since Neal and Banggood has told us that this will be solved and how, just calm down and give it some time. You have 6 months of protection through Paypal, but that route should not be needed. If you can’t deal with the issues, you should probably stop ordering things from China at all actually…

What about the fact that he has time to log onto the forum, but not bother posting here?
That’s the point that makes a lot of people angry.
Just a short explanation, (maybe) why it’s taking longer than expected and that BG isn’t trying to fool people - then all would be good.
please remember that we deal with persons!
Tell that Neal, too ![]()
Just think yourself in that situation - you ordered something that is especially made for you - but you get the wrong item. The seller offers you something, you agree, but then you don’t hear from them for weeks, but you notice, that others get their correct items shipped.
That’s not giving people a good feeling
btw: Still very happy with my 12 Button Top 30Q’s >-)

Well, with all the vitriol in here, I can't really blame him for staying away from this thread. Also, he probably has a lot of PM:s to reply to, if he had written in here but he still hadn't replied to your PM, I guess you would complain about that instead? Like I said, I understand that it is frustrating, and when all they had offered was $1 back I would have been mad about it as well. Now they have offered a solution that is great for most people, and I bet they will lose quite a bit of money on this whole thing just because some schmuck somewhere mislabeled a box. I want Neal and BG to keep doing group buys and custom builds, but if I had to deal with this kind of crap due to someone elses mistake, I'd find something better to do with my time.
