H folks, I hope you can help.
I bought a couple of these for friends - one of my mates bought a 10440 cell to use in it (no idea of make or model - he’s tested it and it is supposed to have 3.87V) but it won’t operate the torch. AAA cells work fine. Any simple ideas as to why it won’t work with the Li-Ion?

Maybe this means they’ll finally ship mine? I had a first “shipped” notice. Then a second one 3 weeks later (with a different picture and a different tracking number from a different carrier). Another 3 weeks and the tracking still shows up as “we printed a label but didn’t actually send anything”. I might like more but not before I can at least try the first two to see if I like them.
So, how long is one supposed to wait before filing a complaint?
I’m using a 10440 in mine. Gets HOT quick! Works good for 30 second increments!

Thanks - I’ve asked him again - he told me it was a button top when I first asked him but I haven’t seen it.
I have the same thing going on. The first tracking code disappeared from GB My Account, and so did the earlier photo of a “shipment”(a bubble wrap envolope no doubt photographed with many other labels) with my address info printed on. Now there’s a new photo, new tracking code and new shipping date info.
They really have cheap workers available if it’s more profitable to print labels and shoot photos of envelopes with them sitting on a scale. All they had to do was to tell the customer that there’s a delay. There’s a delay of several months every once in a while when buying something from China for €5.
…unless their business model is to not ship anything to, say, every fifth customer.
I will be ordering two more tomorrow. Of the first order I kept one for myself and gave one to my mother. When I mentioned that there was a third production run she asked ‘how much’ and reached for her wallet. FWIW, she’ll be 72 this September.

Just got my 2 348’s with efest 440’s. I got about 3 minutes before the tip was too hot to touch, but the rest of the shaft was fine. It puts out ridiculousness for the size. I’m sending one to my Dad.

I never got my two lights. They were lost by the shippers (not gearbest) and never replaced. what a PITA.[ BLF is eating part of my sentence… :disappointed: ]

I was able to order more without engraving with the code on the first page. The code didn’t seem to work on the BLF engraved version.
Both of mine arrived after 6 weeks of waiting. Are they supposed to come with o-rings at the tailcaps because mine don’t have them?

and btw, my tailcap dont thread well on my first light, once you open it to replace a battery, its VERY hard to close it up again,
second light is fine tho,
The second batch lights I received I had to bend the clip back a bit to reduce pressure on the tube. The clip’s bend made it difficult to align the cap to thread it properly.
