Hell of a technology balance there. working without cooking itself with it’s own heat.
Apart from “wanting” one. What would you do with it?.
From a fixed point, scanning. Maybe. Hilltop/chair/single Malt.
Walkabout. Smaller would do more comfortable job. Lighter. cheaper. and getting closer all the time.
They’re starting to get into the impractical stages for hand torches nowadays I reckon.
Just for fun the other night. I strapped my Convoy L2/L6 side by side,
with a tapered foam block between them to align beams.
Hanging off a shoulder strap.
Almost WOW… But for the prices not bad for what is a cheap Combo
with looongish/wideish cover beam.
I did it with my C8+ and Astrolux S41 too.
Trouble being I did it AFTER the L series. very ho -hum.
I wonder what the biggest current thrower with the same in spreader would produce?.
Surely some of you must have thought that way and played at one stage.

One of my YouTube channels has 15000 subscribers and 14,000,000 views, it was making good money but youtube pulled the plug on my adsense recently due to a lot of my vids featuring copyright material. I’m hoping my other channels take off to get all the tech I need but I’ll still need time.
