nichia emitter is hard to buy, we don't have any model with nichia leds. But LH351D 90CRI is good try.

Maybe, but runtime would suffer and you aren’t saving that much weight, and yes ramping ui is nice but not a deal breaker to me
Runtime isn’t a problem I can recharge battery.
I find much more important weigh and dimension for an headlamp.Don’t like have lithium over my head but you can use both cells AA/14500.Smooth ramping UI with sublumen is usefull for select right bright on close works
