I introduce myself, AbyssTek Divers is a friends team of technical divers who due to our hobby, have the opportunity to test many flashlight models, we created a channel to help people who are interested in a flashlight model to see how they work, what comes in the box packaging or how they look in a real underwater environment. I'm sorry for the commotion that was caused by individually putting different posts for each of the models that we have had the opportunity to test. So I will keep the post updated as we buy more models and we can try some more of friends. I hope the post is useful, ask any questions about any flashlight, everything is to help the community. Surely someone complains that it's spam or whatever... but if you subscribe to the youtube channel it's a great help, thanks again.

Hyosung…these are some great videos, such nice clear underwater footage! I’ve never been diving and am not much of a water person, but these make me want to consider learning. Your “INMERSIÓN ARRIBOLAS (BERMEO)” video with the mola mola…that was fascinating. I’ve never seen a fish like that - looks like something the Germans designed toward the end of WWII…!
Are your videos taken with handheld flashlights or do you use dive lights or camera lights? Sometimes the up close footage looks like wonderful light, like HID…and then sometimes red light, too? Do you guys have an opinion on color temperature of the emitters for underwater use? Hard to tell in the videos if a light is actually warm, neutral, or cold white…in a couple videos the same light almost looked both warm and cold at different times/angles.
That red scorpionfish was amazing, too. Thanks for sharing, and this thread will be a great resource for people looking for dive lights.
First of all, thank you for liking the channel and following us and watching the videos. I encourage everyone to follow us on YouTube, you help us a lot by doing something so simple. I have to say that we are not experts in underwater recordings, we are learning by trial and error… The situation in our waters is as follows. We dive in the Cantabrian Sea, very dirty and cloudy waters. Visibility is usually 5/8 meters. The set up that we use to record is usually GoPro 8/9/10 and spotlights between 2500 lumens and 10000 lumens. Soon I will add my personal set up and the configurations I use in case it could be of help to someone. The problem of underwater recordings in very dirty waters is as follows (my personal opinion and experience, I have already told you that we are not professionals in the underwater video sector). The GoPro is great at just about everything but has a few issues when it comes to shooting in low visibility situations. We have tried innumerable options when it comes to adjusting the camera, and we have realized that with the same configuration in the same dive, the final quality changes drastically… Everything we record, many times 60% is useless, in each video there is a hard editing work (yet we never retouch the color of the images). Being such a dirty environment and having such sudden changes in light and shadow, sun flashes, etc… The GoPro sometimes with the white balance in automatic mode goes a little crazy. That’s why in the same video shot it suddenly looks great and instantly turns red as if the images were burned, because the GoPro automatically tries to adjust the white balance but given so many variables sometimes it can’t do it so well. By manually adjusting the white balance, the colors become sad, dull and don’t look like the videos should… It is very difficult for us to achieve an optimal result in the recordings because the visibility changes in moments, clean areas, dirty areas , a lot of dirt in suspension… It’s chaos sometimes… Later, as I’ve told you, I’ll open a post about how we have the camera configured and what results it gives in the videos, in case someone can use it as a reference to the time to change the settings on your GoPro. I appreciate your words again, the intention of the channel is to bring personal opinions about products and videos of what we do to the diver in a friendly way…
This is a brief summary of everything we suffer… although there are also other problems such as the cri of the video lights… if they have a dome or not… the angle of the beam… a thousand problems that give a thousand different results … hahaha
The GoPro works very very well... but of course, of all the footage... there are many records with burn parts, red areas... that later in editing you fix it by removing them but... all this is complex hahahaa
Take a look yesterday diving video.
The set up used is... GOPRO SET UP
