Good deal! I almost forget that I wanted a lantern. This is the lowest price I see. Grabbed an orange one with battery.
The LT1s is actually really nice. It comes with a buck driver unlike the new LT1s PRO which has an archaic 7135 driver.
I don’t use lanterns much. My S21F with a silicone cover acts as a make-shift lantern, but I still want a proper one and LT1s is perfect in this regard.
I didn’t experience this with my A1s.
At Top Ramp it definitely got quite warm after 2 minutes but I didn’t really notice it stepping down until closer to 4 minutes.
After that I bump it up to Turbo to try to force a big step down and it never dropped low.
The light became uncomfortably warm so I layed it down on my deck railing and hit Turbo 2 more times and it still never dropped low.
I used a Fully charged Samsung 30T and it was 69° Fahrenheit outside during my test.
It’s a proper LEP, not one of those tiny ones. 1lumen measured it at 2.6KM (almost 2MCD). It step down from turbo after 5 minutes (okay if it’s used as a toy though).
I just received nealsgadgets 14500 little Lep, my first Lep. It throws nice but I ended up paying the same price as this discounted Thor 3 so I’ll pass on this one. If I waited a bit I’d end up grabbing this, even though I saw the review and there are some flaws but 2400 m throw and 1+mi cd in this price is a true budget lep
Sofirn Q8 Plus with batteries. About 55$ after cupons. I am not sure if it’s a superdeal, but rather a «summer deal». It’s anyways a really good deal, and I thought I’d post it here anyways.
It seems like a nice and affordable hot plate (for reflowing LED’s) for the money, the Mechanic i5X Ultra.
Normally it seems to be close to € 30,- (including shipping) but now it appears for around € 18,30 (Logged in, in the AE app) for me:
I recieved mine yesterday, but haven’t had time to test it yet, but going by the unboxing experience and feel of it, the quality appears to be alright. (Will do a test with a thermocouple later on.)
