I do have some sort of plastic/teflon bar here but its a pain to machine. Its to soft. I have an idea what I want to do but totally lacking in motivation to do it. I have a couple of weeks of work over xmas so instead of screwing a few tech screws into the house to stop it toppling over and the roof collapsing in I'll do this light. The sheds ok as its brick.
As long as you have your priorities straight, that’s the important thing. Wouldn’t want that silver plating to tarnish before you get the light built…
Finally the LE & driver arrived today. Dedomed XP-L V6 2C and BLF17DD with 60 secs turbo timer. Extremely bright. The shell handles the heat really well. I used FM 26650 C host and during that 60 secs of turbo mode the body and head is hot but not up to the extend burning the palm. Excellent shell. I should have bought more.
