Cold steel makes some decent knives. The Triad Lock is the strongest lock made for folders. Though it can be pretty stiff to unlock. I am not a fan of back locks though. The blade is AUS8A, it is a budget steel, but decent. List on the knife is $52. I think this is a good deal for a small utility knife. FWIW. I am going to pick one up.

I have tuff lite and tuff lite mini - I really like them. They are hollow ground and very thin - not a heavy duty blade at all. The steel is soft, easy to dull, easy to sharpen. The lock is stiff and the handle material is awesome. I just wish they used a better steel with these. Iāve had to shave around wounds before patching up while on the trail - this is one knife that gives me the willies when shaving. Itās like a cut throat razor and it wants blood - you really have to be careful when making contact with the skin. The most recent models have a different steel, but they are no better.

Btw, in a nutshell, whatās the difference from the LT1S and LT1S Pro?
The LT1S has a basic UI only, but one additional feature where the white LEDs on one side can be switches off to have a 180 degree light. The LT1S Pro runs anduril instead.

Point well taken. An average car starter motor generates about 400 to 600 amps for starting the engine. So I assumed it was a typo. But then I just looked back at the one several people had linked to a few months back, it was 1800Aā¦ and I didnāt see anyone call it out. In fact, the higher GIMFOOM model claims 4000A, versus the 2000A on the one I linked. Soā¦ deliberate.
To be fair, they only claim 400 lumuns instead of 999,990.
At least thatās what it says in the friendly manual.

I have a similar unit. Not the same one, so this is speculation without proof, but I doubt mine can do 100 lumens. Soā¦
