I used to wear a watch. Felt bulky, especially leaning my wrists on a hard desk, etc., when typing.
Got used to using my phones to see the time.
Now it’s just easier to go, “Hey, what time is it?”.
I have some watches at home (3 mechanical, one quartz and two smart), but put them on only when needed, which is not often. Smart mostly for navigation when hiking, sometimes to pay with or to control the iPhone camera.
Classical watches only when having to dress up (unless too dressed up as black tie is better with nothing, but one of the mechanicals is super minimalistic for BT if keeping time is indispensable).
But it is nothing most of the time, no need.
