I’m new to this as I’m sure you folks have seen. I have some Fenix and Olights with cool white emitters. Since been here, I’ve been seeing a lot of nice, smaller lights with a rosey colored emitters and absolutely love the look! Id love to get one to edc around the house in my sweats or athletic shorts. Any good recommendations for me to look into? Thanks in advance!

Well someone’s going to say it, might as well be me. Emisar D3AA with a dedomed 519A 4500K. Not the rosiest of rosies, maybe someone else knows the Hank emitters better and can recommend something pinker? Or possibly there’s something Hank can fit for you from his hidden menu like the FireFlyLights FFL?
These new black versions with the cool switches look great.

Read on from here, the NTG35 might be what you’re after. A Reddit post says it’s the same emitter as the FFL35A which is rosey.

In addition to what’s already been suggested, another cool option to check out is the Wurkkos TS10 with 219B or 519A emitter. It’s a small triple-emitter light with beautiful floody output and fits perfectly in hand or pocket. The TS10 also runs Anduril UI which gives you a ton of customization (great for around-the-house EDC use).

If your budget is on the low end, you could get a Convoy T2/3/5 with a Nichia sw45k LED which will be nice and rosy. And one could argue that it is one of the most revered LEDs for CCT, CRI, and tint.

Disagreed; it is THE most revered LED for CCT, CRI, and tint. Kidding aside, agreed wholeheartedly. Even as owner of Fireflies and 519a lights, 219b is still the “reference” against which I compare others. BTW, I have 5 lights with Nichia sw45k:
- Reylight Pineapple Copper (smooth reflector)
- Emisar D4V2 (quad TIR)
- Convoy S21D (quad TIR)
- Convoy M21H (single TIR)
- Convoy H2 Headlamp (orange peel reflector)
Of these 5, the least rosy is number 1, then numbers 2, 3, and 4 are next in a rosy-tie, and number 5 the headlamp which for whatever reason is disntinctly most rosy and tests accordingly with Duv in the low 100’s negative. Of these 5, I like Convoy M21H the most because I strongly prefer side button and the convenience of integrated USB-C charging. If small size is important, then it would be Emisar D4V2, but of course no integrated charging.

dedomed 519A 4500K is my favorite warm LED. And the D3AA has my favorite User Interface, Anduril.

sw45k is my favorite non warm LED, and Convoy is by far the cheapest host to buy and try different LED options.
you could buy two convoys for less than one Emisar D3AA, pictured with my two favorite LEDs:
Both are considered to be “Rosy”. The one on the left is very pleasantly warm. Good for use in the evening.

the TS10 is my favorite Host form factor, but it does not come with either of those LEDs from the factory. It has to be custom modified.

Reylight Pineapple Mini is an AAA light… it is very small.
You would have to ask Rey if he can sell you one with an sw45k LED, or a DeDomed 4500K 519a.

Last night I decided to go ahead and order a couple Convoy T3’s. My wife, who has been teasing me about my new hobby was sitting next to me while I was browsing around on the laptop…turns out she saw an option in Cyan ( her favorite color) and said she wanted it. $16…sure thing babe! So I went and got the Ti/Copper option for myself. She likes a more natural or “sepia” tone. So for hers we’re taking a chance at the 519a 3500k and for mine I went with the 519a 4500k. Once I get a better feel on these tints, then I’ll likely get “one” of those Emisar D3aa’s as well. Appreciate the help fella’s!

Good choices, and not too expensive to try dedoming.
This is a lousy pic, but here was my dilemma once I picked off one. The colour change seemed dramatic. But once the other two were off and there was no comparison, I like it a lot more.
I watched a few videos on dedoming, seems easy enough for an amateur. If I can disassemble a knife and put it back together, a “simple” mod like this should be…well, simple!

Anybody in the US order from Convoy before? If so, roughly how long does it take for shipping from China? Shipping through YunExpress, never heard of them before.
Yun Express gets stuff to the UK pretty quickly, 10 days (ish). Delivery this end is handled by Amazon, so it’s pretty efficient.
YMMV obviously depending where you are, but it won’t be weeks like it used to be.

In case you haven’t seen this post before, here’s great info on slicing and dedoming 519A LEDs: 519A, Try Slicing!
You should be able to remove the bezels on your T3s and dedome the LEDs without needing to remove the MCPCBs. That will certainly make them rosy!
Domed, the 519As are pretty neutral. Still very nice, but I prefer them either dedomed or sliced.
