I just can’t capture it on my phone but the XM-L2 T6-4C has a far rosier spill than the 219b sw45k. The trouble is the green core on the XML2. I wonder if dedoming it would do anything helpful?
Cheers. Already completed. Blue one above. Went with a 219b. Simon did include a gasket which was lucky as I hadn’t thought about that.
Yeh, gets warm quick on turbo but I really have no need for that mode. Primarily wanted it for the moonlight setting which is very nice. But now I’ve tried this driver think I’ll stick with the 7135 with biscotti for any future S2 mods. Suits my needs. I do love the narsilM on the S43 but as I understand it, one would need a different switch type to use in S2, and that it’s hard to do?
Possibly. Each of the different coloured bodies has a matching - corona? is that the word? - but in this case it’s actually the spill that is rosy. I’m not getting spills that match the colours of the other hosts.
Woot. So a Fenix PD35 Camo arrived today. Wish it had shown up last week in time for a very wet weekend of camping.
And an email from Hank that my D4V2 with E21A 2000k is on the way. I. Can’t. Wait.
And last but not least got a few other E21A’s on the way from Cutter to play around with in my S2s.
