Some impressions and pics of the Bee L02. It is a medium sized knife with liner lock and open pillar construction. It's makes for a handsome EDC folder. I was drawn to it for two reasons, it looks good and it has a deep carry pocket clip.
The G10 scales are excellent and the grooves are attractive.
Nice lock engagement and check out that deep carry clip!
Perfect alignment when closed.
Normally I dislike tip-down carry knives, but I got this one because of the deep carry clip. As you can imagine, virtually none of the knife is exposed when it is clipped in.
One of my complaints is that not enough of the liner lock is exposed make it difficult to close. Normally I wouldn't mind it so much, but this particular liner is very stiff. It hurts my thumb to close it. It's not bad enough to return it or not carry it, but I definitely don't play with it as much as I do the EL-01. Also notice the quality of the G10 and torx hardware.
Unfortunaty, the liners are not skeleltonized making it slightly heavier than expected but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, an excellent EDC.
I just got one of these in the mail today from Dino. It is a nice size between the SRM 763 which is a little too small and the bigger Enlan EL knives which are a little too big.
Funny, I just got this today. Overall, a great knife. Fit and finish are excellent.
Love the size - a true mid-size folder, which is rather rare in our usual selection of Chinese knives. The size is right between the typical smallish edc's (like the 710, 763) and the much larger ones (like the EL01 etc). Cutting edge of the blade is 2.9" (74 mm).
The clip is perhaps the best available. If only it was tip-up, which is my preference.
I agree that the liner is rather stiff, and doesn't afford much purchase. But it's by no means a deal breaker.
Pocketable, practical - it just might become my new edc.
