Guys…PLEASE don’t update previous posts unless very recent…PLEASE!
Thanks Krono, ordered 8)
Could someone please illuminate those of us who have not received codes for listed SS/Cu light sets about why we have not heard from the Team yet? Patience is a virtue, I know. Just biting my nails here!
Thanks
About the firmware… as far as I can tell, it was probably just a typo on the filename. There was an October revision and a November revision, and the sample I got had the October one on it. I don’t know for sure if production used Oct2015 or Nov2015, but I expect that later batches will likely switch over to a Jan2016 rev I sent with one final calibration tweak.
- October: Got everything working.
- November: Asked the forum about possible improvements to the mode groups, tweaked the mode groups and brightness curve.
- December: Went on a long trip. Production may have started while I was gone, though I’m not sure.
- Mid January: Tested final sample, sent an update which changed only the voltage calibration.
I think the first production batch likely used Oct or Nov, and later batches will probably use Jan. The difference between Oct and Nov is only a few lines. You can even view the diff on Launchpad if you want.
Maybe, but not by me. I don’t offer any commercial services, but others might.
Does Neal have access to these lights in the warehouse? Would he be able to check if it has 8 or 9 modes? The website description shows 9 modes, with blinkies on the 7 and 8 mode.
LightVision1 - if it turns out yours is the older Oct rev, I'll update it for you just for the shipping costs, though don't think it would be worth it. I would do it for others too if the #'s don't get crazy - reserve the right to restrict total #'s (), but again, not sure if it would be worth the shipping costs.
Thanks for the offer Tom,
Thank you all for your work
ally set ordered now for the 3 weeks wait,
Thank you, I got my both my AL set and SS/CU set ordered. I went for 1A on the AL set because I’m on the list as ? for tint.
All lights and drivers are already made. No changes will be made to anything already produced. Also, as far as the UI goes..people should try it before they run into risks of shipping their lights around
As far as the Aluminum X6......we are waiting for hosts, 2x18650 extension, MTG2 emitters, etc etc. It is the ONLY X6 that comes with a threaded reflector and has the option of an extension. No other has it. Of course I wanted to ensure function before telling everybody. Just to be clear..these are DIY and not production.
Didn’t get a code yet. SS/CU, no box, WW (now NW 3B). I understand it takes awhile to send them out, just not sure where we are in the process and it looks like some SS/CU have been ordered already.
Anyone know bin info on 1A yet?
Kronos, have you get any news or update from Neal?
Thanks to everyone whose hardwork made this group buy possible…
Wow.
Not sure if I got the rite code or what ,but the price for 1 ss/cu no box is 85.00 but after I enter the code the price shows 94.95 thats with free shipping and no Insurance . What am I missing ?
Can you please include in the first post details of how the modes/configuration of the firmware works on this light?
Thank you for finally telling us! I’ll sleep a lot better tonight!
That sounds awesome. I definitely wouldn’t mind building an MT-G2 X6. I’ll be watching for more details on that.
What link are you using to get to that light on the banggood website?
Not sure if I should post the code in this open forum as it was PM to me ,bugsy36?
Dont post the code, post the BG product link.

Dont post the code, post the BG product link.
Did not think it would be in good form to post the code ,but anyway figured it out problem solved ,nothing to see here thanks to all involved in making this happen !
