I find the Efest Purple 14500 to be the best out there. The AW RED IMR14500 is close, but it falls after 20-30 seconds and get’s left behind. The Windyfire too is a good cell, pretty close to the Efest and AW, but just a wee bit shy… probably not enough to notice and certainly not if you don’t have all the options to compare side by side. You really won’t go wrong with any of those 3.

I put Sanyo 14500s and Chinese Ultrafire 14500s in my x5s and they all work well and are bright. Your eye won’t notice the difference. For close up use, you’re going to be on low mode, anyway.

I was at a toddlers birthday party today. That’s why, 15 miles away, the postie was unable to deliver my aluminium set. So they’ll stay in the depot until Monday morning when I can go and liberate them.

I bought a nice pretty SS/Cu set from Gunga, they ended up sitting in the big rural mailbox all day because a sub didn’t bring the package up to the house like my usual guy would have. At least they were still there! I’d have been like scrumpypaul if someone woulda liberated em…

Royal Mail attempts one delivery and then, unless you specifically request another try, keeps the item for 2/3 weeks (depending on standard/express/recorded delivery etc) for you to collect it. The depot is really close to me so that’s a plus, although they’re only open limited hours but I’m a shift worker so it isn’t usually a problem to get there early to catch them open. It would be tricky if I worked Mon-Fri office hours as they’re only open one day in the week past noon.

Bit disappointed that the X5 is actually an Astrolux S3 with no BLF Limited Edition branding…. Is this normal?

Banggood somehow lost my numbered Cu/SS with box from January. Now I’ll never know what number i got, they gave me a refund, but I don’t think I would buy the versions on the site now.

Well after ordering my lights as soon as I got my code back in January then getting stuffed around a lot because Banggood never actually posted my order, my lights finally arrived today. It is still disappointing that I never got the boxed matching number sets that I reserved and paid for but at least I ended up with something. I got numbers 280, 339, 345 and 400.
But, one thing I can’t complain about is the lights themselves! They are absolutely awesome!! None of my lights have any defects which I am really happy about and the quality of them is just awesome! So thanks to team Krono for all your hard work, IMO it has certainly paid off!

I ordered an aluminum X5 about a week ago, should be here this week according to the tracking. I’d rather it be BLF labeled, but if it’s astrolux or w/e oh well.
