BLF Kronos X6/X5 GB - Group Buy now closed.

I wonder what PayPal would say if you ordered that one.
Then your original one arrived, very late.
Then the $200 one never arrived.

This gets complicated.
How can BG tell the difference?

Are they keeping track of the numbers?

LSX - just beautiful!

LSX, nice and shipped like this they were well protected!

Okay - struggling to enter config mode. I thought I had sorted it for moon on plus four levels of brightness. Nice and simple. Now however it just goes into the low, maximum, police, battcheck etc and I can’t seem to get it to switch back to the config mode. What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you are not clicking quick enough and it is taking your clicks as long presses instead of short presses.

Thank you MRsDNF - another issue was I hadn’t disabled the medium press and that was creating havoc with what I was trying to do!!!

Anyway, now all sorted - starts each time on moonlight then four levels of brightness. Great.

Thanks again

Terrific pictures, LSX. My aluminum set arrived yesterday, they were in the same boxes shown in your photos and had enough wrapping you could play volleyball with the package - seems like they got the message. I ordered these Feb 28, they showed shipped on March 2 and were delivered in the NYC area on March 21. The lights themselves are fantastic, from the heft to the finish quality and especially the Bistro interface! Haven’t too much time to test them out, but can already see the X5 is amazing. Thanks to everyone that contributed to the design and GB…

Yes, don’t do a full click. Just press it halfway to change to the next mode. It takes only a small fraction of a second and makes no sound. The full click is only needed to turn it on or off.

Is here anyone who is invited into manufactoring process?
Does head`s internal thread end synchronised with holes position?
I`m thinking about X5 quad pill/spacer and interested if it is real to make such pill, screw it into the host, mark holes location from driver`s side and mill grooves for wires to except host drilling. If each host has difference in thread end and wire holes relative positioning, spacer without thread is better way.
Sorry for the offtopic, please answer here: Low-cost copper pills, spacers, optics, drop-ins (Updated 23/10/2022))

The X5 looks great with patina. This is after 1 month of no polish.

This looks very nice to me. Did you store it in particular conditions? Mine is already several weeks old and there is no patina. But I keep it mostly in its box.

Jescereal, that is just beautiful….

When I first received it, I polished it and removed the coating that prevents patina. I carry it literally everyday and handle it every chance I get.

That is REALLY NICE…… like a brand new month old penny…… Im jealous!

In old times they used horsepee on those copper roofs (on churches for example) to have them turn green faster.

Who is going to show us the first green X5 and testing the water resistance of it while getting there :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello. I like mine shiny. You say there is a coating on these that will keep the shine? So far mine has kept its luster. If it starts to fade I going to wash it in ketchup :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, there is a coating. But we don't know what the coating is, & how long it will last.

I’d hate to be the roofer’s apprentice who was given a bucket and told to follow the horse around. :frowning:
