Greetings to all! My name is Steve Barnhart. I am a law enforcement legal & tactical instructor full time, professional photographer part time, and flashaholic all the time! I have worked with tactical and scene lighting for law enforcement, firefighters and EMS over the past 22 years.

In the next year, I will be diversifying my business to include sales of tactical lighting and equipment, including a helmet mounting system I have assembled for firefighter and rescue helmets on a website in development, www.swatrox.com. The system utilizes any 25mm diameter light, and I plan to use Solarforce and XTAR products – in part due to their build quality and reliability described here on the forum.

I have already made my contacts with both companies, and am now able to resell their products. As a “thank you” to Budget Light Forum members who have contributed to reviews and highly informative threads, I would like to try offering the best prices I can for some XTAR products I already have in limited stock.

I think you meant WP6 II for $31.90. You have the WP2 II on ebay for $21.90.

Actually, one of my responsibilities is coordinating post-blast investigations courses and am responsible for a bomb range (with a 10-lb. C4 limit). I love my day job!

Remember, too, that when people pay you directly through paypal instead of going through ebay that your saving on the ebay fees. Something to think about for BLF members who pay you directly through paypal and setting your final price. Also you could get a group buy going and take orders here in large quanity to help you save as well as us on the final price on the Xtar batteries.

I just figured out how to save a little on shipping and still use USPS First Class Package. Two XTAR 2600mAh 18650’s are back to $13.90, everything else dropped as well!

It was a long post - sorry it wasn’t more obvious. I noticed another post recently where someone asked what CONUS was, so I thought I’d write it out instead of abbreviating.

I haven’t ruled out international sales - I just haven’t had an opportunity to determine what the additional expenses are for shipping.

Your business is appreciated anywhere! I remember shipping the package to South Carolina recently - I’m trying to see how long it takes to have customers in every state :slight_smile:

ATF is coming by Friday to destroy some evidence now that the suspect in the case has been convicted. Should be quite a blast - pun intended.

When I became a cop, I had no interest in fires and blood. I became a full-time instructor and started missing the adrenaline rush. September 11 happened and I wanted to do more, so I became a firefighter and started running into burning buildings part time. I got tired of standing around doing nothing after serious vehicle collisions, so I became an emergency medical responder. That’s the last thing I expected from when my career began, but I truly enjoy my work and what I can give back to my community as a volunteer.
