Breaking News: raccoon hates getting sick!

I don't like chicken broth, so I got vegetable broth.

I also got orange Gatorade and orange-pineapple soda.

I think that's going to be what I "eat" tomorrow.

Gotta love that "clear" liquid diet!

Go - go - go! And go some more! :disappointed:

Hope you get good news. I just had one a couple of months ago, Dr. found nothing and said I don’t have to come back for 10 years unless I have problems.
Theoretically, I could get prostate cancer before my next “cleanse”.

Get-R-Done.

May it all come to nothing.

So, while I was shopping for orange Gatorade yesterday, I became super thirsty.

I figured I was dehydrated from my new diet of the last four days.

I started drinking the Gatorade last afternoon, and felt better immediately.

I don't usually drink sports drink, but I'm glad I got some for my clear liquid diet today.

My procedure went about as well as possible.

No polyps were found.

A biopsy was performed, and I should learn the results of that in about two weeks.

(I have an appointment with my gastrointestinal people.)

...

I don't do recreational drugs any more, but I'm "on drugs" right now.

Mentally, I'm at about 67% of my normal.

Physically, I'm at about 50% of my normal.

I need to take it easy for at least a couple of days.

:+1:

That’s a different doctor, the GI doc is not checking your prostate.

Primary care physician can give you the finger wave at your annual check up, or you can use the smear tests kits to send sample to a lab.

Glad your procedure went well Raccoon City & hope the biopsy turns out Ok too.

Hope you stopped on the way home & ate a good nourishing meal. That is my favorite part of a colonoscopy.

I have a colonoscopy every three years and my go to meal on the way home is a big salad, steamed Broccoli, & a nice rare Rib Eye steak. That always works wonders for building the energy back up.

Fish or Chicken instead of the steak a time or two worked well also.

Also, it is amazing how much better I felt after eliminating most all of the junk food from my diet many, many years ago.

Way back then I finally realized, for the most part healthwise; We Are What We Eat.

That, is a simple but profound truth.

I'm playing it safe and eating yogurt and soup, and continuing to drink Gatorade.

I'm also still drugged up, so I shouldn't make any large decisions.

My imaginary girlfriend wanted to marry me today, but I told her we would just have to be "friends with benefits."

You may have heard of her.

She's former adult film star, Bobbi Starr.

I consider myself a lucky man.

What Dr do you see —- They send me home with a ” Dat A Boy ” as soon as I blow the walls off my cubicle — Never any home pain medicine involved

And the first Restaurant on the way home —— I do kind of make a big mess all over my shirt though —- LOL

Yeah, yogurt is very good for replenishing good gut bacteria. Great choice.

Sorry to hear you are still having to take drugs, did the Doc accidentally slightly perforate your Colon?

They didn't give me drugs to take home.

I am still feeling the effects of the drugs they gave me yesterday.

It feels like I'm on drugs right now because I am.

I get the sense that in his current state of mind, RC is seeing Dr. House. JMO

C'mon Dr. House,

I know you have a ton of Vicodin.

Share the wealth!

@kennybobby I was just making the point that in the 10 years between my colonoscopies, I could possibly develop prostate cancer

before my next one, I know it’s a different test etc. Had nothing to do with the particular test, just the amount of time between and my age.

Don’t forget, you were going to box up all your Kershaws and mail them to me. Can you get this done before the drugs wear off? :sunglasses:

Rex lion. No it was me he was sending them to!
RC glad you are doing well. Hope you continue to improve
