I bet they are simply wired as 4s2p.
Removing the RPP was rather simple, thank you!

Oh my bad. Totally missed that.
Where did you find one with 7070 mcpcb?
My guess is this is a buck driver with a FET like some Nightwatches use. You get somewhat regulated output on lower modes, but direct drive on Turbo.
Since the cells are in series, I hope it has balance charging.
LightThrower
Did you get it yet.
It does appear to be. My cells were perfectly balanced after using/charging, while they were only nearly balanced when I put them in.
What coupons? It’s showing $180 for me.
I ordered the Haikelite HK08 host with MCPCB and reflector but no leds and driver from the Haikelite Taobao store. The MCPCB is definitely for 7070 leds. As far as I can tell they are connected 2S4P. Here are a few pictures.

Nightwatch will bring out a new flashlight most likely after the Chinese New Year. It will be called the Nightwatch NA15 Supernova and have 72 000 lumens from 15 SFQ55.5 leds.
Interesting. SFH43’s, the 16 die leds Kaidomain sells are 9090.
Where did you order the MCPCB from? Might there also be a source for a smooth reflector?
They said in the post, from the Haikelite Taobao store.
As wolfgirl42 wrote, I ordered it from the Haikelite Taobao store.
I don’t think that they have a smooth reflector.
Sorry for not seeing that. I actually had done a search on aliexpress with no luck, good to know its on Taobao.
Haikelite also has an Aliexpress store, if you need a reflector you could try to ask there.
A promising new Haikelite HK10 with 10 XHP70.2 and 80000 lumens is on the way: Haikelite HK10 on Taobao
I already ordered one since the price will likely go up in a few days. It won’t be long until Neal has it, too.
Should be one of the cheapest flashlights with eight 21700 and you can use your own batteries, it is not a battery pack.
It weighs 1355g without batteries.
Nice. I just got my HK08, might need to upgrade to that HK10 though hehe. I don’t know if they can get 80,000 lumens out of 10 XHP70.2’s though. The X75 uses 12 to do it, and even that’s pushing it. In theory it would be possible, but in real life I doubt it. It is anyways nice to see another one of these budget lights without cooling in the leauge of AceBeam and Imalent in terms of pure lumens.
The nightwatch Supernova A15 is also comming out soon. That claims 94,000 lumens with only 4 bartteries, but I also doubt that. Update: 1 lumen measured the A15 at about 50,000 lumens, 10,000 lumens less than the HK08. The HK08 should also throw further.
Received the Haikelite HK10 and measured 60K at turn on with Nealsgadgets cells. It’s maxing out my PVC tube and the bezel is slightly larger, but the inner diameter is firing straight down the tube so should be close to actual numbers. You could +10-15% though getting it closer to 70K.
Amazing! Would you take this over the HK08 based on price if the size isn’t too important?
