TA makes this light sing!
If we had only known before the magic of TA was coming, so much trouble could have been avoided.

I do not have the knowledge or equipment to measure parasitic drain…

Both my chargers/power banks have a total of ~160 μA, so ~80μA through each cell.
I still have to take an official inventory on Monday but I do still have 2 items only 1 of each that I will let go of at more than half off.

And 1 MT09R 35 high white (really silver) which already had the new TA driver installed and has calculated out to be a 1000 meter thrower. Using this exact light which is the first one I tested TA's new driver in I found a water tower 822 yards away and it was no problem at all. These are excellent throwers.
Unless you happen to want an emitter upgrade this light needs nothing and is ready to ship directly to the customer with the new driver installed of course Narsil that you all know about.

I Think I have 2 more of these I just have to locate them and order a driver from TA for them. That will be next week sometime when I do a quarterly inventory.

Hey guys I sold the MT09R 35 high CW White(Silver)
I normally always take Sunday off but I knew I had one more 35 high and all I needed to do was install TA's driver so I now have only 1 35 high left.
Black and even though the box is not marked for some odd reason I can just about bet the emitters are CW. 6400 lumen in my tube using 30q's
I am about to process the order for the white one and I will add this black one to the stores inventory when I do and at the same price.
The is the last MT09R of either model I will have or will be able to get until they are installing the driver from the factory. I can also promise you that the price when they do begin shipping will not be discounted at all so this is the last one of the big discounts.
Keep in mind that I had to pay for the driver like everyone else and I still left the price at $110.00 and it is ready to ship.
Did anybody know when will we get the updated drivers from haikelite?

Last update on the HL drivers was I sent them the components to make some samples along with a few finished drivers to test.
They said they got them and mine worked fine but they had some issues with the ones they made, I help them sort out some flashing issues with the firmware and they said they would test them.
Have not gotten an update since, or paid.

Anyone remember the description of the TA driver which pins are for the switch and LED indicator, etc?

The writing is very small, you might need a magnifying glass.

If you find a verifiable lower price let me know and I will see if I can beat it. This is still one of my favorite of all the Haikelites. I have also been told that TA has a driver that will get you a ton more output. The battery tube has to be converted but a lot of people are having the mod done...

I changed the driver in my MT09R with an XHP70.2 from the stock driver to a TA driver.
I measured the lux in my simple shpere, the results are below:
With stock driver : 1374 lux
With TA driver : 1990 lux (I only bypassed the springs on the driver)
45% increase in lumens.
Sounds good to me. If you started with ~12000 lumens, then now you have ~18000 lumens. I believe this is also reported by TA. :+1:
It really depends on which emitter you have. The 4000k, I measured 13k startup lumens on the 4000k and 17k startup lumens on the 5000k with stock drivers. My 4000k measurements were consistent with TA’s measurement of my flashlight when I sent it to him for mod. But good to get another confirmation that TA’s driver alone is good for 45% lumen increase.
