Code now public! BLF A6 FET+7135 Light. Short 18350 tubes and Unanodized Lights Available

With resistance mods I’ve seen well over 1600, even 1800 lumens, with the FET driver and a top cell. That’s with the new U3 1A.

These little lights are super awesome hot rodded, boggles the mind how much light…intense light… can come from these little pocket rockets.

Not real sure if I was up for one or… So, please note me as buying two of these little devils.

  • a Wink to TK! Thank you.

I guess I am just impatient. no update to the op for 2 weeks. any word?

+1 many times over

in for a NW

Still waiting on the manufacturer to get their act together and send production samples to prove they can build it correctly. No idea how long it’ll take.

Do you think they will be able to build it correctly? Just asking for an educated guess. Thanks.

7 come 11....new shooter...tosses the dice and cranes his head.....

This is going to take some patience, folks.

There are MANY challenges when dealing with Chinese vendors/manufacturers/suppliers…challenges that are seen and unseen. To get it right requires…patience.

Did I mention it takes patience?

did I mention 4 months seems pretty patient

HAHAHAHAHA inderdaad

Yep. As always I guess.

1 NW one for me please. Thx!

This is china. It can take 4 months just for shipping!

Patience is definitely required. We’re asking the manufacturer to do things they’ve never done before, building a product unlike any light which has ever been commercially produced. This item is a “first” in many ways.

I am not trying to anger anyone. I must be stupid. enlighten me??? what is so different other then the driver? VN seems to be able to mod about 1000 drivers a month by hand.
this is a Chinese manufacturer. I am sure they could redesign a driver in a day or two. if it takes 6 months to build a light that is based on an existing host. then it could be obsolete by the time it is built. it seems that expedient design changes would make them a lot more money. we live in a world of instant gratification. I would have been in a group buy every month if available. I am sure others would too. talking about a buy for 4 months just seems like a lot of wasted breath. like I said. enlighten me. just my 2 cents.

You do realize that Vinh would charge about $100 for a similar light right?

If we would pay Eagle Eye a 400% markup i am sure they would do this much quicker.
We are asking them to do this on a budget so we don’t have to pay more for the A6 than what the A6 costs now.
If we would pay a lot more for the A6-SE they could do it quicker & we would get it sooner.

As far as i suspect EE don’t actually don’t usually do in house manufacturing but buys of the shelf parts & assemble like most Chinese flashlight manufacturers. I base this on that the X6 host is made by Adega & i suspect maybe they also make the A6 host.

They probably uses of the shelf drivers in most of there lights.
In the X6 GB we got them to use an custom Maxtoch coppar mcpcb DTP.
And now we are trying to get them to produce a whole driver with a custom firmware exactly after our specs, this has newer been done before. Besides the driver the A6 will also have a copper DTP mcpcb & maybe carobronze springs, but i don’t know if the springs are confirmed yet.

Thats why IF they succeed we are one step closer to be able to buy fully modded hotrodded lights in the future for crazy little money.

The only thing missing is braided/wire bypassed springs, but first things first the driver is the biggest hurdle.

you really miss the point!!! VN is doing this all one on one. don’t even pretend that a Chinese manufacturer cant mod a driver in less the 4 months. the Chinese completely copied the falcon F16 fighter jet in less then 90 days, over 700,000 parts from stolen blueprints. give me a break. we are talking less technology then a toaster oven has. if they wanted to do it…. it would have been done in a week or less. this is not rocket science. this is an led flashlight for goodness sake.

I’ve noticed this seems to be losing steam. GB still on?
