You can just stick a spacer behind the battery inside the 26800 tube. In that light, even a wad of aluminum foil would work just fine.

Hey Simon,

Is there going to be an xhp50.2 3v version with op reflector for the new M21F? Should be a more efficient and usefull high lumens close to medium range light with a wide hotspot rather than as a thrower imo especially with the e-switch.

currently no OP reflector for M21F , and there is only 3V XHP50.2 6500K.
i will produce OP reflector for M21F XHP70.2

Too much electronics being crammed into a small area. A light spring on either side works and protects the cell from bashing the base of the board. With that brass stud a much heavier spring is needed. How critical is it, is up to the user. Myself it’s a bit critical.

Agreed! I was toying with Simon’s spacer boards in the MC3 and even with two of them in there it would still bounce and cut out…added a third and dented the top of a QB cell…dangit. I think a thicker wire on the same spring design might work but I’ve got some P60 springs on the way and will give that a shot. Toying with the idea of trimming the pillar and adding a small spring to it but that seems like a great way to get dust-shorts or destroy the driver. I do love the light, though. The design does keep me from buying similar lights in large cell formats, though.

Where is Convoy S21C? There was A and B, and now D, but no C.

S21C ,triple TIR lens,
The three holes on the MCPCB were too small in diameter for the TIR lens to fit in and I had to send them back to the manufacturer for rework.

From the photo on the Convoy flashlight Store on Ali Express, the L8 looks longer than it should be, since it is using only one 26800 cell. Has anyone found any good Group Buy offer for the L8?

the L8 is specs as having a 90mm head size! This is very exciting for me, as that puts it in the same throw range as the Astrolux/Mateminco mf02sV2 and almost the WT90, but with the ease of using and carrying a single cell

That’s a good idea, too, might give that a try while I’m waiting on the P60 springs to arrive. Do you think there’s a possibility of sourcing a stronger triangle-spring for these lights so customers would not have to add parts? Thicker wire might be enough, maybe another coil or two also?

The convoy store on AliExpress stats the head diameter is 81mm is that correct or is it 90mm?
