Nice. That’s one beautiful reflector. I think the QC issues were a pretty small percentage but it’s certainly not cool that there were any. I informed Simon of every single issue I heard of and he’s been addressing the issues. This truly is an awesome light for the money. I love my current one and I can’t wait to see the new one. I should have it in a couple weeks and can’t wait to see how it performs with the XPL-HI!
Just a quick note. I have confirmed with Simon that the new L2 host will ship with both the XM-L2 and XPL-HI centering rings.
Hi Jared, do you know if the 2 cell tube comes with the 18650-26650 sleeves when just ordering the tube by itself?
I don’t think it does but that’s the kind of thing you can just ask Simon when you order and I’m sure he’d throw a couple of the spacer rings in for you.
Edit: He doesn’t use sleeves. The spacers are star shaped rings that slip on around your 18650 cell. They’re shown in post #880 whith the question “What are these things?” LOL

Nope, just xpl HI, HI means that there is no dome but a thin slice silicone for protection. So basically its a dedomed xpl ;).
Except it’s like 10% less lumens than the XPL HD 
So Simon says the LD29 driver can be adjusted at the factory to change the current so it seems similar to the LD-25 in that regard. He did not specify how it is adjusted though. I’ve asked him if he can clarify exactly how to adjust it and if possible make a video like he did for the LD25.
What do you guys think of using the l2 with this holster from fasttech.

i get my L2 (1Cell) few days ago and want to change some things. I am looking for parts and hope you can help me and post some links.
- wich Reverse Clicky does fit very well without modifications and works at 5-6A?
- have you seen GITD O-Rings for the glass lens?
That won’t fit, I have it. But this may, this takes my M2X-UT with cigar ring (63mm head) just fine. Also fits my Warsun X65, Brinyte 158, and UF 1503 very nicely.
i have never used aliexpress… but it looks like i need to buy a “lot” of XPL emitter spacers.
Is there a way i can request 1 spacer? I also need a new driver retainer ring (terrible bastard).
and i have heard rumor that convoy will take paypal, can anyone school me on how to make these request?
The easiest way I can think of to approach this would be to find some small item you want to buy from his store and then send Simon a message asking if he can add in the retaining ring and spacer. Tell him what you need and the quantities and that you want to pay him using PayPal and just ask him what the price will be. I can’t make promises but if he has the items it shouldn’t be a problem. Be specific and realize it might take a few messages back and forth but Simon is pretty good about working these things out. Tell him you are from BLF. That never hurts. 
I already have (20) XPL led gasket for the L2, from Simon, in the states now. If you want I could mail you one free of charge. My pay it forward.
Just PM me with your address. This is open to anyone else as well. Untill I start running low. I will never need 20 for myself.

I will wait to see what Simon’s reply is, and if i need the spacer i will contact you later. I figure the only thing i need from him is the brass retainer, but if he cant get me one i will just solder the driver in place.
