【convoy】SFT70 3000K CRI95 available

Yes

Makes sense… so short answer I need to order another flashlight

Simon, what tint bin is the 95CRI version of the 3000k? Can you share spectrometer readings? Thanks!

The Aliexpress listing says it’s an HB4 chromaticity bin. If so, it should be on to slightly above bbl.

Oh no that’s unfortunate. I wish it was A or D bin. Looks so much better.

Tbf, the HB4 tint bin wasn’t too bad in my test. (duv more or less on 0)

Sales of M1 are not as good as those of M21b.
I would be more interested in designing this tail for the m21b.

All XHP70.3 HI R9050 is greenish except 5700K

I think he’s talking about xhp70.3, not sft40.

@Simon_Mao
Do you have a favorite flashlight or emitter?
(I’m just curious.)

Personally, I would recommend the m21h. Because of its small size, it is easy to carry, and the light spot is very uniform. Even if you suddenly shine on an object one meter away, spot will not hurt your eyes.
The brightness of about 4000lm is suitable for most environments.

Nice choice!
My favorite flashlight is a Convoy quite similar to the M21H. :+1:

Actually I was talking about the SFT70 3000k 95 CRI. Can you share measurement data?

FYI, the existing tactical tail works well with the M21B. The only issue is the o-ring. The regular o-ring is not compatible and gets cut. I have replaced it with two much smaller o-rings, which works but is not ideal.

To fix this, you would just need to design a deeper o-ring groove to make more space for the o-ring on the M21B tube (or on the tac tail).

Viton/FKM o-rings may be a workaround.

What is a good source for these?

Search “FKM o-ring” on AE should be able to find them. They are green, brown, and a few are black.

My new M3-C xhp70.3 (6V 5A) drops to low at 3.5v, is it normal? There’s still plenty of juice. :person_shrugging:
