Critique my spring bypass

It has been a while since there was last a topic on how to do a spring bypass, it is nice to see that some evolution has taken place, the techniques are more diverse and refined now

Yes a lot came up that I didn’t even think/know to ask so i’m very thankful how it has evolved. The “how to” threads and videos I was finding were literally ~5 years old and not consistent with what I was reading from new threads.

It would be great to see a “how to” on this 17mm High-Amp Switch PCB by pilotdog68. After reading a lot of posts I stumbled upon it. Just ordered a few from OSH Park for a few dollars. It would seem to make this easier. For instance, can you just solder a 20awg silcone wire straight into the center via? Snip it flush on the switch side? Attach the switch last (less chance I’ll overheat it) Seems to be robust enough that bypassing the pcb would only be needed in certain circumstances.
