This really turned out nicely. A bit of bling with a lot of blaze.
I can't fully appreciate the skills needed or the challenges met while making that light but I can enjoy the beauty they produced. That is a work of art, sir. Well done!

This light has had a couple of updates since the build. The driver is now a RBD modded Qlite (extra chips) shortened and a new tailcap made from aluminium with a brass insert for the spring. Its now a lot lighter to carry and gets used quite a bit camping. Unfortunately last weekend while I was away camping it decided to stop working. On a quick inspection it was found that the tailcap spring has melted. I have not had time to delve into it yet to work out why but I'll take a picture of the light in its latest guise when I get it fixed.
I'm still after ideas on what to build for this latest comp. Thanks.
