I see what you mean now. I had interpreted what he said to mean something different, sorry about the confusion.
Chinese Capitalism
The Chinese upset that the Chinese steal from the Chinese.
Ahh the irony…
Man I’d really love to get my hands on this light and fit a Texas Avenger driver in it with NarsilM. I really prefer xhp70 with reflectors over the xp-g3 with TIR lenses.
Interested.

If its about cost per lumens then a single xhp70.2 will massively save 2/3 of the most expensive component. reaching ~6-7k lumens with mt07 haikelight driver with a good bin xhp70.2. The larger reflector will increase effective light OTF efficiency to exceed 9k lumens 3xsmall reflector output and will out throw it…
Using 3 high end leds 6k lumens specification for 9k lumens is pure waste. The potential output can easily be ramp up by choosing a lower resistor value for boost mode with not much change in manufacturing cost. Boost mode allows Heatsinking cost from extended runtime to be avoided by a thermal resistor which is already pretty common.
The lowest cost will be a direct driven 16v 4 cells in series connected to 3 xhp70.2 led without a driver. That will give upwards of ~15k lumens direct driven with no efficiency loss.
My point is The cost has already been sunk so its not about cost consideration in this case but to avoid wasting good leds- Finish your meal kids. Make it 20k lumens by including a 20klumens boost mode in the light option at the same production cost and see the Q list fill up instantly. :+1:
I like the way this guy is thinking.
one for me please.

Nicolicous:
Can’t wait to get my MF01
I might get a second one if there is no issue
This is the Utorch UT03 thread.
Ooops I posted in wrong thread
I’m also interest in this light too

did you see the head design ? No way it can handle 20k lumens….Or during 10sec hahaha
All manufacters have reached the limit for me. 10000lumens / 150watt lights need a design with heat consideration because they can all claim 10k lm but sustaining 10 to 45sec is a pure marketing thing. The peak output do need something like 3 minutes.
Totally agree with you mizou51! For 20000 lumens you need at least a 1Kg flashlight without batteries to maintain it for a few minutes. Most of the mass in the head under the Leds.
Or active cooling.

ok put me down for one who needs another flashlight right
one for me please
put me for one, please
Project temporarily put
ON HOLD .
Please do not ask why.
There is no need for me to answer your query,
and please refrain for unnecessary speculations.
We will reopen discussion when everything have sorted out by GearBest.
Do you still want people to sign up for the list?
I’m interested
Interested.
What’s the production estimate for shipment?
I want in.
Interested.
